Louis-

I didn't expect to fall in love with someone I never met, but I did, and it wasn't my fault. I saw her and I fell in love. Not enough for you? Well, here's more information.

I was only taking my bandmate, Harry, to the hospital to get his hurt ankle looked at, but I walked into the wrong room after leaving him alone to use the bathroom. She layed in the bed, her eyes shut, hooked up to a variety of different machines, bandages covered her arms, and a small white band aid in the shape of a 'X' on the side of her forehead. No one was visiting her and I saw no 'get well soon' balloons, or flowers, or stuffed animals. The room was empty except for her. I just stared at her for a while, expecting her to open her eyes and scream that there was a stranger in her room, but she layed perfectly still. I sat there for a while, looking at the girl.

"Do you know her?" A nurse interrupted me.

"N- yes." I lie. I didn't want her to kick me out of her room. "I'm an old friend from school." I say and the nurse nodded. "What happened to her?" She raises an eyebrow, almost doubting that I actually was 'an old friend from school'. "I just got here from Doncaster." I lie.

"Oh, okay. Well, about a year ago, her families house caught on fire," I nodded, motioning for her to continue, "and she was unconscious when we found her. The rest of her family didn't make it," I felt a stab in my chest upon hearing that.

"Anything else?" I ask wanting to hear more.

"She has been in a coma for a year, now. We doubt she will wake up and in 3 months we are planning to take her off of life support." Another stab.

"No! You can't." She looked at me apologetically.

"I'm sorry, son." She put her hand on my shoulder before exiting the room. I took the unknown girl's small hand in mine.

"I don't even know your name and I literally met you 10 minutes ago, well kind of." I laughed. "Is it possible to be in love with you? Maybe. You should wake up soon, you know. They're going to take you off life support soon, then you'll die." It hurt me to say it, but I knew it was true. Her chest rose and fell slowly.

"Louis? You here?" Harry asked, coming through the door.

"Yeah." He walked over. He looked at the girl.

"Who's she?" He asked me, kneeling down besides the girl.

"My true love." I answered truthfully.

"Huh?" I nodded. "What's her name?"

"Don't know."

"Then how are you in love with her?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know. Love at first sight I guess."
