"Are you guys out of your minds?" I start shouting at my parents.
They both let out a big huff, "Diana, it's for your own good! Besides, you brought this upon yourself!"
I could feel tears well up in my eyes. I didn't let them escape my eyes though. I couldn't, I had to act strong.
"You guys have seriously lost it! And, you're doing this over something so small."
"It isn't some small thing, Diana. We're doing this for your own protection." My mom says, trying to calm me.
I heavily sighed, "Do you not understand how much this will effect me? It won't do any good on me. I'll just act even more childish-like, as you guys shall put it."
"You're going through with this, whether you like it or not. That's final." My dad says dropping the conversation.
I stomped off to my room and slammed my door shut. I threw myself on my bed and cuddled up with my pillow. I was really wishing I wasn't cuddling my pillow and I was cuddling Vic at the moment. But, I wasn't so I just laid in bed and basically started sobbing. All because Vic wants to be with me, my parents are making us move. Not anywhere close, I might add. My parents are making us move back to California. California.
This was beyond stupid. I'm pretty sure my parents got together at a young age, and their parents had no problem with it. But, my mom is slightly older than my dad, so there is a difference.
It was about an hour later that I had been in my room. I was almost asleep until I heard my door creek open.
"Whoever it is, leave me alone. I don't want to talk with anyone." I grunted.
"Well, damn.. I'll just go back home then." Savannah says as she fully opens my door.
I sit up on my bed and turn to face her, smiling. "Sorry, I thought you were my parents or Julian."
"Rough day?" Savannah asks.
I sighed. This was going to be the hardest thing for me to do. Tell Savannah that I'm leaving. Not only this school, but this state.
"Yeah, pretty much."
"Tell me about it." Savannah gets comfortable on my bed, ready for me to talk.
"Well, you know how my parents are making me switch schools because of this whole thing between Vic and I?" Savannah nods, "well, I'm kind of..." I trailed off, not wanting to finish my sentence.
"You're kind of, what?" Savannah asking, concern written all over her face.
"I'm kind of moving back to California." After I spoke, I felt like a heavy weight was lifted off my shoulders.
The look on Savannah's face was something else. I couldn't tell whether she was shocked, pissed, sad, or even a mixture of both. Either way, I wasn't ready for what she was about to say.
Her mouth gaped open to say something, then she closed her mouth not saying a word.
We sat there for a moment in silence. Just letting the words sink in of what I just said. It was awkward just sitting there. It was then I look over to Savannah and see a tear roll down her cheek.
She finally broke the silence, "Don't lie to me."
"I'm not lying, I swear." The only thing is, I wish I was lying to her.
Savannah got up off my bed and walked out of my room. I could see her looking around for something or someone.
"What are you looking for?" I finally ask.
