Waking up to the alarm i see Ella already up and out of bed. Turning the alarm clock off i go to her. Come on baby lets go eat were going to have a long day. Okay mommy. With that i carry her to the kitchen. Placing her down i think what should i make. Going into the fridge i look to see that we only have a few foods left. I will have to go to the store soon. Remembering i only have limited amount of money left from my winnings. I saved up most of my money from my competitions for dance and gymnasium. I just decided to make three pancakes. One for me and two for her since we only have enough for that many. Placing them down she gets to eating while i just watch. After a couple of minutes i get to eating. Twenty minutes pass by and we both finish. Cleaning up the table i wash all the dishes. Okay Ella we need to go get ready for your grandpa's funeral. Looking up i see tears going to fall but shes strong like me she holds them in. Picking her up i give her a kiss on the head and take her to the restroom. Taking her a bath i make sure her hair is washed nicely. Drying her off i put her clothes on for today.

Having her hair dried into its little wave i clip the side to the back. So that she wont have her hair into her face. Putting on some tv i go to the restroom and take a shower. Quickly coming out i change into the clothes i laid out yesterday.

Just to keep my hair natural and leave it down. Going back to Ella i get her ready to leave we still need to catch the bus. Restocking Ella bag i put in a change of clothes just in case. Grabbing my converse i put them on while slip Ella's flats on her. Making sure i have my wallet and keys i put them in a side purse. Locking up the house we leave to the bus stop. Once inside i get a lot of looks some of pity others of loathing. Wearing something like this isn't uncommon for me. I like my body plus all the time i work dancing and other things. It keeps my body well toned. Ignoring them i put the correct bus fee for the both of us. And we both go to the back to sit down. Just sitting down Ella just sits and becomes silent. Knowing that today is a sad day for us. Holding her hand we just sit for the, fifteen minute bus ride. Finally stopping the bus we get off and walk through the funeral home. Seeing that the casket was all set up i say hello to the funeral director. Telling him we are here he gets started.
(An hour and half later)

Its been awhile already they just lowered the casket down. Now they are just pulling dirt over it. Once they are done they say they are sorry. Leaving Ella to i go and borrow one of the mens phone. Pulling out the card for the police officer i dial. The phone rings twice before someone picks up.
"Hello officer Tod speaking"
Yes you gave me your number earlier this week. Saying if i ever need anything to call.
"That was me what can i help you with"?
You see we are currently at the burial and everyone left. I was wondering if you can give us a ride home.
"Sure i wouldn't mind ill be there in a few minutes".
Thank you good bye
"Good bye".
Going back i give him back his phone and go sit down with Ella again. Just sitting their holding her while she colors. Getting lost in thought the next thing i know is someone is tapping me. On my shoulder looking up i see its officer Todd. Seeing he's a lot younger then i remember the last time we meet. He looks about twenty-one. Hey officer Todd good to see you again. Looking down i see he's just wearing normal clothes. Going back to just looking at an holding Ella. After a few more minutes i feel like its time for us to go. Okay my baby its time for us to go home. 'Alright mommy'. Packing up all her stuff back into her back pack. I put the back pack on one arm and pick her up with another arm. Getting up from my seat while Todd gets up from the seat next to mine. Todd leads us to his car while offering to take Ella from me. "Here let me get her you look tried". Thank you i appreciate it very much officer todd. "Please call me todd its my day off from the force". Well thank you Todd for you helping me on your day off. Once we reached his Mid size Mazda car. Unlocking it he strapped her in the car seat in the back seat. After he did that he reached out for the bag from me. "Here let me get that from you". Handing over the back pack he puts it near her feat. Closing the door to the back he opens the door to mine. When i am inside he closes the door for me and gets inside himself. Putting on my belt i seat in for the ride. He gets inside and starts the car. With that we take off to the my house. Wow its lucky you have a car seat for her. "Yeah well i went home and changed and picked it up". Oh so you have kids? "No my little sister she's out grew this two years ago. So now i keep it around just in case for emergency". Well that's great to hear for me. 'Mommy,mommy i want to go to the park'. We can go after Todd drops us off at home. I'm sure he has better things to do today. "No its fine like i said its my day off, i wouldn't mind taking both of you". Really its okay. "Oh come on im fine with taking you both". Okay only if you are really okay with it. With that he gives me a nod and we set off. Where here looking out the window i see we are. Getting out the door i go to Ella right when Todd gets there. Its okay ill get her i need to change her outfit. "Okay then ill wait out next to the car to keep watch". Thank you. Getting in the back with ella i put her shorts on with a purple shirt. Then change her flats to sneakers. But before we get out i change into some jean short. But leave the shirt and my Converse. Putting everything back we step out of the car. Helping Ella out first then i get out. Have a little struggle getting out Todd offers me his hand. Gratefully i take it and he pulls me out the rest of the way. Finally looking up i take my hand away. Alright you ladies all done. 'Yep mommy hurry i want to go play'. Okay baby lets go. Holding my hand she drags me over to the playground. Letting go i take a seat on the bench while she runs off. Seeing that Todd is already sitting down. I just watch her while i speak.
