Chapter 44: I'm A Ruin

"Daddy!," Sophie yelled as she came down the stairs.

Thank god we were fully clothed by then.

She stopped at the end of the stairs noticing her mother in the corner.

"Hey Sophie," Engrid said smiling. Sophie cut her eyes at Engrid and walked over to me.

"Caeli and I are hungry, " she said, looking at me.

"I'll order some Chinese. Go back up the stairs," I said. She nodded her head and hurried up the stairs.

"You've turned my daughter against me," Engrid said angrily.

"I didn't do anything. I wasn't the one telling Sophie she was a mistake!," I said.

"Fuck you Jackson!  I hate you so much.  I can see why Fae left you!," she said as she stormed out the house.

"Mommy's gone?", Caeli asked.

"You weren't meant to hear that sweetheart," I said.

"Did mommy leave me?", she asked with glossy eyes.

"Mommy didn't leave you. She left me. Daddy didn't make her happy enough," I frowned.

"You're crying," Caeli said, wiping the tears from my face.

"Crying won't do anything. We have to get mommy back," Caeli said determined.

"Sometimes what you love you have to let go and if it was meant to be mommy and I will find each other again,'' I said managing a weak smile.

"That quote was meant for pansies. Grow a pair and fight for the woman you love!", Caeli yelled.

"Its a lost cause Caeli. Now go to your room," I said.

"Ugh! Can't you see that man did something to mommy! She loves you, she would never leave you", Caeli said.

"I use to think the same thing but I was proved wrong. Go back upstairs Caeli," I told her.

"You disappoint me," she frowned as she went upstairs into her room.

Dimitri's P.O.V.

"Where were you baby?", Fae asked as she put my food in front of me.

"I was out taking care of business. Give me a kiss," I said.

She kissed me on the lips and I pulled her closer.

"I can't wait to make you mine," I told her.

"I'm already yours," she smiled as she gave me another kiss.

"You will be completely mine once we get rid of this pest," I said as I gave her a kiss on the lips.

"I'm ready when you are," she smiled.

"Perhaps we will go tomorrow morning," I said as I took a bite out of my spaghetti.

Fae continued to smile as she ate her food. Her smile was starting to annoy me.

We continued our peaceful dinner until we heard a bam at the door.

"Who disturbs us my love?", Fae asked confused.

"I will see, sweetheart," I said as I got up from the table. The door opened and I saw Jackson.

''Well well, look what the cat dragged in. How may I help you?", I asked looking at him.

"Give me my wife," he said as he pushed passed me.

"She's not yours anymore. She's mine," I smiled as I waltzed over to Fae.

"Who is this man, my love?", Fae asked as she stared at Jackson.

"Its me Fae. I knows you're in there somewhere," Jackson said as he touched her. Fae gasp and I smacked his hand away from her.

"No touching. Give me a kiss, love," I told her. She kissed me on the lips.

"Good girl. Be gone Jackson. Your presence is no longer needed," I told him as I held Fae close.

I had won her. She was all mine now.

"I'm not leaving unless Fae leaves with me," Jackson said.

"You're becoming a nuisance. Its time to get rid of you," I said. I shifted into my wolf and Jackson followed. 

I would kill him,then I would kill his annoying ass daughter. 

Jackson jumped on top of me and started gnawing on my neck until meat showed. I pushed him off and tried to get a grip on his neck. Given that he was an alpha he easily overpowered me. I needed more help. 

"Help me Fae!," I screamed. She shifted into her wolf form and eyed the scene before her. I watched with a smirk and she pushed Jackson off of me. 

She stalked over to him and he whimpered slightly. Pussy ass bitch. 

She got on top of him and I smiled with satisfaction as she brought her head down to his neck. 

"Kill him baby! Do it for us!," I yelled. I heard Jackson whimper as she started licking him all over his face. 

"Your supposed to be killing him! You're such a dumb bitch!," I yelled. Both of their growls resonated throughout the room and they stalked over to me.  

I backed away and they ended up cornering me.

"Don't do this baby. You don't want to hurt me!," I said. She growled and put her paw on my chest. 

"Fine kill me, but if I die you will die with me!," I yelled as I bit down on her neck. I felt Jackson push me off and I smiled at the large chunk of flesh I had in my mouth. 

Fae was on the ground leaking blood. Never had she looked so beautiful.

"I will meet you again, my love," I said as Jackson ripped out my heart. 

I didn't even know I had one..............
