I can feel, hear, and smell strange things. The smell is sweet and warm, like a home that I've never known. I can feel soft and fluffy little wiggly things next to me. Pushing me roughly to get to the warm sticky stuff. Then there's this very big never ending, hard kind of thing that is everywhere. On the floor and the walls, that keeps me isolated. But from what, I don't know. I may never know. All I know is this dark place that is pitch black, but sometimes at a certain time, becomes white and piercing. I always struggle to get to the light, while my brethren has shied away. I can feel this warmth that doesn't come my mother, but something much bigger. But before I can take another step further a big soft paw has pushed me back into the dark depths of the cave.
A few weeks, months, or years have passed, but I do not know, for I cannot see. Slowly, like it's not even happening, but slowly I can start to see things around me. They twitch when I paw them, I come to realize they are my brethren. The light has come back, but this time there is nothing stopping me from getting to it. I slowly walk towards it, looking back every now and then making sure the darkness hasn't tried to grab me back to its black depths. I walk into the light and see nothing but blinding white, then I'm floating and I see everything clearly. I have left and I'm never coming back.
