Chapter 11: The Yule Ball

Months went by and it was the night of the Yule Ball. I was so excited I could barely handle it. Once it was time to get ready, Hermione,Ginny and I all helped each other get ready. Hermione did my hair and Ginny did my makeup. "Okay you can look now." Ginny exclamied. I opened my eyes and looked in the mirror. I was so shocked. My hair was curled and put to the side. My makeup was perfect. I looked like a whole different person. "Thanks guys I love it." I said giving them a hug. I carefully put on the robes and the shoes. Hermione and Ginny were both ready when I was finished. We walked out to the dormitory to see if the guys were out there waiting on us. The dormitory was empty. "They must be waiting by the Great Hall for us." Ginny said. "Yeah." Hermione replied. We all three carefully walked down to the Great Hall. At the bottom of the stairs was Harry, Ron and Neville. When they saw us, they were shocked. "Wow they look handsome." Hermione exclaimed. "Yeah they do." I replied. I walked down to Harry who was wearing a black tuxedo and had his hair spiked. "Wow you look beautiful." He said. "Thanks Ginny and Hermione helped me." I told him. We linked arms and headed into the Great Hall. The Great Hall was decorated wintery. There were tables with food and punch. The band The Wierd Sisters were playing. Professor McGonagall came up to us as we entered. Her belly was even bigger than I last saw it, It was cute. "Are you guys ready to dance?" She asked us. "Yeah." Harry replied. We went into the middle of the dance floor and slow danced. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he put his hands on my waist. "See your doing it." He whispered. "Yeah I am." I replied. I looked into his beautiful blue eyes and smiled. As our lips met, I knew this would be a night to remember. The song ended and everyone clapped. The Wierd Sisters played a crazy song and everyone started to dance. "Let's go get some punch." I told him. "Okay." He replied. We walked over to the table and saw Ron and Hermione eating. I got a glass of punch and sat down beside Harry. "It's hot in here let's go for a walk outside." He said. "Okay." I replied. We walked outside hand-in-hand. They had the outside decorated so pretty. Lights were hung up around the trees and bushes. We saw Hagrid and Madam Maxime talking behind some bushes. We walked on not listening to their conversation. I started to shiver. Harry wrapped his arms around me to keep me warm. We walked back in the Great Hall to get warm. Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall were no where to be seen. "I hope they are okay." I told Harry. "Me too." He replied. The Yule Ball lasted for a few more hours. When it was over, I was tired and felt dizzy from the punch. Harry walked to my room. He helped me get into my room okay. "Thanks." I said looking at him sitting beside me on the bed. "No Problem." He replied. I leaned foward to give him a kiss. What happened next I hardly remember. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer. I could feel his tongue on my teeth. It happened so fast it was still a blur to me.
