What’s good for Peter, is good for Paul
But why the fuss when it comes to Gus?
While Peter breaks and makes mistakes,
And Paul brawls and always falls,
Why then the shouts when Gus only pouts?
Where Peter screams,
And Paul schemes,
Why reprimand the Gus that dreams?
What’s there for Peter, is fair for Paul
Yet here comes Gus with nothing at all?
When Peter beckons and plans followed within seconds,
While Paul demands and gives no other voice a chance,
Why then the silent ignorance at Gus’s singular insistence?
For as Peter dances,
And Paul prances,
There is Gus and his lost chances.
What’s offered to Peter, is taken by Paul
But why the count of Gus’s amount…?
While there goes Peter where nobody knows,
And staying Paul there lays and plays,
Why is it okay to leave behind Gus to clean up all the dust?
Because as Peter gains,
And Paul just remains,
There is Gus, the mandatory one who entertains.
So… what’s good for Peter, the same for Paul?
But never matched to that for Gus?
So fair is fair, but not at all
When things like family come to call…
So then if that’s so,
Regardless of the place or race,
Then what of sweet forgotten Grace…
