"Y/N?"

Your breath hitches at the familiar voice. The voice that once filled your days and nights, that once brought you warmth and love, but now only reminds you of all the long lasted pain. You take a deep breath to steady your heartbeat before turning your body around and face the man that is now a lost part of your past.

So many memories flashes instantly the moment your eyes met his, and it takes every strength you have inside of you to hold your body from falling to the ground and to keep your tears from falling from your eyes by seeing the sight of him standing in front of you again. "Yoongi?"

"Hi," he said with a sigh, giving you a wide smile. "I- never thought I would ever see you again. How have you been?"

"I'm doing really well," you answered him with a nod, biting your quivering lips that is threatening to tell him the things you are keeping from him. "You look good yourself. I thought- you might have forgotten about me after so many years."

"What?" He scoffed, shaking his head while he chuckles. "How could I ever forget about you? What we had was-" At that moment his eyes flickered, showing you flashes of his hidden emotion that you caught with your own eyes, and you can't help but wonder what is going on inside his mind as he looks straight at you without saying anything. The sounds from the busy crowd of the airport around you is hushed away as you are lost in your own thoughts.

Are they guilt? Regrets?

Are they sadness?

Why do you see the look full of fondness he used to give you in the past? Is your mind playing tricks on you and showing you the things only you want to see?

Why is he here, after so long?

Yoongi clears his throat, looking away from your eyes and everything disappears instantly. "So- what are you doing here? Are you- waiting for someone?"

"Uh- yes," you stuttered, flustered at his question and start to look around as passengers of the previously landed airplane start entering the area. "I'm here to pick someone up, actually." You turn to look at his way again, just in time to see that he is staring at you. "Did you just arrive from somewhere?"

"Yeah, I just came back from a tour," he sighed. He opens his mouth again to speak, but immediately gets cut off by a voice calling for him from a not-so-far distant. You look at the source and see a tall man, along with a few people that you recognize as Yoongi's friends. "That's my manager," he said with a groan, looking back at you with a regretful smile. "I should probably go now. Uh- I still want to talk and keep up with things. Will you- would it be alright if I ask to meet you for coffee and just- have some friendly talk? As friends?"

You hesitate for a moment, but the rushing need of ending the conversation urges you to answer hastily, "Yes, of course. As friends."

He moves forward to give you a quick hug before turning around with a nod of his head and a content smile, and you watch his back as he walks towards his manager quickly, until he is lost between the crowds. You are still gazing at where he disappeared to when a cheerful voice calls for you.

"Mommy!"

You turn back around to see your five year old boy running towards you and you welcome him with opened arms, kneeling on the floor to catch him. "Yoonjin-ah!"

"I miss you, Mommy!" He said excitedly once he is in your arms, throwing his little hands around your neck to hug you and let you kiss his cheek.

"I miss you too," you told him, stroking your fingers to tidy his messy hair. "How was your trip to grandparents? Did you have fun?"

"Yes, I did! Grandpa took me to walk around town and then Uncle Mark bought me this hoodie and this iPod to play with," he pulls the hoodie he is wearing to show you with one of his small hand while the other is holding a small iPod firmly, a bright smile is plastered on his face as he flaunts his gifts. You watch him with a pursed smile, releasing a sigh of awe at the similarity in his face with the man whose face is still engraved in your mind.

A deep chuckle catches your attention, and you look up to see the man that your son mentioned just previously, wearing an identically yet large sized hoodie as the one your son is now wearing. "Finally," he sighed, "He won't stop telling me how much he wants to show you those."

You stand up on your feet and give the man a hug. "It's good that you guys are back safely," you said as you let him go. "Did he give you a hard time?"

Mark shakes his head. "No, not at all. We had a lot of fun, didn't we, champ?" He laughed, ruffling your son's hair and letting you know the reason why the little boy appeared before you with such messy hair. "But Mom and Dad wouldn't stop complaining about how you weren't there with us. I explained to them how busy you are, but they still want you home."

"I know," you sighed. "I'll try to be home for Christmas, I promise. I can't miss out on my older brother's engagement dinner, after all," you said teasingly while nudging his waist with your elbow.

"Oh, if you ever dare miss out on my engagement party, I will hunt you down," he scoffed, and the two of you share a laugh before gathering your son's belongings. "Did you come here by car?"

"No, I worked until late last night so I decided not to drive."

"Okay, then. I'll go out and get us a cab, you guys meet me in the front lobby," he said, before running off to leave the terminal hall.

You lean down to pick up your son - who's been busy with his little iPod - to carry him out of the hall in your arms, pulling his wheeled suitcase behind you as you start walking to where your older brother had instructed you to. "Are you excited to come home?"

"I am," he answered, once again placing both of his arms to hug around your neck. "I bought you so many things, Mommy."

"Good. Show them to me later, okay?"

You walk slowly with your son in your hold, passing through the crowds of people with your attention fully on your son's chatterings, unaware at the pair of eyes that is watching you from afar.

Yoongi walks quietly following behind his friends and manager, smiling to himself with a tight lip while memorizing your face and your smile. It's been years since you've seen each other, years after he broken up with you with an excuse of work, and you let him go while stating how much you didn't want to hold him back. The long years of work and travelling buried his old feelings he ever had of you, and seeing you today only bringing them back.

He pulls his phone out of his pocket, turning it on to see if he can find the perfect date to meet you again. "Fuck," he cursed under his breath, realizing only now that he had forgotten to ask for your number. Now how am I supposed to call her?, he thought to himself, cursing for being so careless.

He hurriedly shouts at his manager, "I'll be right back!" before turning back around to run towards where he came from, hoping that you will still be there waiting.

He stops just as he sees you hugging a little child, and wonders if you have found someone, wonders if you have started a family once you moved on. He sighs, admitting that perhaps it is too late for him to try getting close to you now. But just when he is ready to turn back and return to his group, he sees your older brother coming to hug you when he was expecting to see your husband instead.

He watches you with a frown, now wondering who could the child that is now holding your coat be. He keeps on watching without saying any words, or moving from his spot as the child pays more attention to his music player than to you.

A few minutes later just as your older brother runs off ahead, he watches as you lean down to pick up the child in your arms. And the moment he takes in the sight of the child's face, he is overwhelmed by so many thoughts and so many feelings. His breathing becomes erratic, his heartbeat increases, all the noise and the crowds of people around him vanishes from his senses.

Because just then, when he hears the faint sound of the boy's laughter, and when he sees the boy's eyes - how he licks and bites his lips to hide his goofy gummy smile, and how he is showing his side grin as he jokes with you - it is as if he is looking at his own reflection. The reflection of himself from so many years ago.
