"I love you..to the moon and back" I said pointing to the moon glowing straight above us.

We lay there together in each others arms in until it was completely dark, and the stars were bright in the sky.

I checked my watch, it was 11pm. "I'd better get you back, you have work tomorrow?" I asked her, tucking a loose curl of hair behind her ear. "Yeah" she met my gaze and I stood up offering her my hand. She gladly took it and I pulled her up. We both reached for each other's hand automatically and held on tight.

I took the opportunity to ask her why she was alone in this area as she'd told me when we were walking to the car park just hours before. "Kate, you don't have to tell me anything, but why are you here in this town, all by yourself?" I said, scared of how she'd take it. "George you can ask me anything you want, if this is going to work then we need 100% honesty" she told me as we were walking back up the beach towards the car. "But I'd rather explain it tomorrow, after work. We could go somewhere, make a night of it. I'll tell you everything I promise" she smiled at me squeezing my hand. "Sure, just tell me whenever you're ready, don't think I'm rushing into things" I assured her. "I know George, I couldn't feel more safe around you. I don't feel pressured, I'm telling you because I want to".

As we got into the car I couldn't help but smile at the fact that she said she felt safe around me. It was so good to know that I made her feel that way. It meant a lot to me.

I turned the radio on as we drove, I had my Ed sheeran CD in.

"Im gonna pick up the pieces, and build a lego house, if things go wrong we can knock it down" I sang to her, wondering if she liked his music. She looked back at me and sang "My three words have two meanings, there's one thing on my mind, it's all for you"

I was surprised at how well she sang. She looked embarrassed. "Eds a lyrical genius!" she said smiling. "That's exactly what I think" I replied. We chatted for the whole hour of the car ride back until I parked behind the hotel. I opened up the door for her realising she still had my jacket on. She looked adorable in it.

She looked at me longingly and said "Why don't you stay in my room tonight, we don't have much time left together before America and-" I cut her off "Shhh we promised not to talk about that" I said with a weak smile. "Why don't you stay in my room instead, its only fair as I've been to your room" I suggested. "Sure, I'll have to get a few things though" she said. "Yeah sure, of course" I said as we walked through the lobby towards the lift.

It was strange to think that in this lift just a few hours ago I'd had a conversation with her that had changed my life, and now she was mine to hold. "I'm on the 10th floor, you'll be able to tell which one it is" I smiled at her, planning something sweet for her in my mind. "I'll be back soon" she said, kissing my lips softly. As she walked away and the the doors of the lift closed I could still feel her taste tingling on my lips.

Everything had gone perfectly,  I was so happy inside. I was making a mental checklist of things I would need over night to take to George's room as I unlocked my room door.

I turned the light on and turned around. I dropped the keys.

"What the hell do you think you're playing at?" he shouted.

It was Matt, stood at the edge of the bed. My eyes scanned the room and my belongings were scattered everywhere.

"I..I told you it's over, please I'm begging you just leave me alone" I pleaded. I ran towards the door but he raced after me and firmly pushed the door closed, trapping me in. I sat on the edge of the bed, knowing I had no way out.

"Who is he Kate? WHO IS HE?" he screamed, his face red with anger.

"I don't know what your talking about I-" before I had even finished my sentence he had slapped me so hard across the face I fell to the floor. My cheek was burning with pain but I couldn't bring myself yo cry I was so shocked. "DONT LIE TO ME! I told you I was watching you, you and him in that coffee place today, getting in his car. It ends NOW. Now you do what I say otherwise your in trouble. Got it?" he spoke to me, moking me like a child.  I stood myself up and watched him go, slamming the door behind him.

I started to cry. George,  I needed George.
