Yesterday, 10/2/1960, I was forced to go to a birthday party of a close friend of mine which started at 08:00 p.m. I couldn't say no. I just had to go. I came back home really late and I was extremely tired and actually quite tipsy. So, as soon as I got into the house, at which I lived with my brother, I headed towards the bedroom. I didn't even open any lights I guided myself to the bedroom with the dim light that was coming from the window. It was a full moon. I lied on my bed and note that, my bed and my brother's bed were exactly opposite to each other so that when I was lying on my bed and he was lying on his bed, I could see him and he could see me. I was somewhat close to him. When I lied down I could see the obscure figure of my brother. I could tell he was sleeping. It was high time I slept as well; cause I had to go to work next day morning.
I woke up at about 5:30 the sun hadn't really come yet. I felt very uneasy as if someone was staring at me. I notice in the dim moonlight that my brother's eyes were wide open just staring at me. I ignored it. I just thought it was one of the many nosence dialogues and actions he does while sleeping. He really sleep talks very often. I just turned the other way and slept once again. I was very tired.
I heard the alarm go off in the morning and I woke up with a headache. I saw that my brother was not on his bed. I called his name and I didn't get any responce. I searched for him in the house and he was nowhere to be found. I thought he woke up early and left home. I started getting ready for work. I put on my clothes and brushed my teeth afterwards. I went to make a cup of coffe and I noticed a letter on the counter. It read:
"Dear brother,
I will stay at my girlfriend's house for a few days. Best regards, Jonathan. 10/2/1960 10:00 p.m."
