Chapter two News

-present time-

The man in the lab coat left the room, hold the door as to say "hurry up he's waiting for you". I sighed ones more before making my way to do door. I thanked the man in the lab coat for holding the door, but he knew it was also for risking his life.

I walked to the evaluation room, my hands tracing the gold paterns on the once gray wall. One long line for every test evaluation I walked too. They serve as a riminder why I can't get close to people, that I'm lethal at first contact.

I opened the door , my eyes meeting his icy blue ones. "Please sit down and have a drink with me Aurora." He asked gesturing to the chair next to him. The chair was comfortable and soft, my mussels relaxed as I sat down.

"This test went well ,didn't it? Just like the last 4. Im glad the gloves are working" he smiled a warm smile at me.
"I'm sure your team are as happy as I am, I don't think either of us could have dealt with more casualties." I awnsered quietly.
"I'm exhausted from today's training and testing Collin , can we make this tea time quick?" I added louder.
"Of course, one cube right?" He said handing me my tea cup.
"Yes, thank you" I said taking my cup and placing it on the tablet in front of me.
"So" Collin began "seing our final test went well I would like to move you out of the lab and into my home, I know you like to be alone but your still human and you need contact with others, with peers, and not just me and my team." He places a hand over mine.
"I want you to meet my sons and live with them, I will be there too from time to time but I'm scared my busy scedual won't allow me to see you as often as I'd like"

I squeezed his hand giving him a reassuring smile " I know how busy you are, I can take care of myself and I don't need contact with others." I really didn't want to handle boys, especially not if they're as impulsive as Colin sais they are.
"I know you can take care of yourself  Aurora, but my son's can't. And no matter how much you denie it I know you want company." He said getting up. He pulled me out of my chair.
"So I'll be baby-sitting your hormonal teens of sons, geat. No Collin that great was sarcastic". I  say under my breath knowing he cab hear me.
"Ah come on now, don't hold a grudge against them. Look at the positive side, you won't have to wear your gloves around the" he pulls me into a hug, he's the only one who dared to do that.
He kisses my forehead and adds "just try not to turn everything into gold, don't get my wrong I love it but it'll be a pain to clean up for the housemaid.
I chuckle as he pulls away " when do I  move?"
"Tomorrow morning,  don't worry about your things, just bring the nasiserry. My staff will take care of the rest" he nods at the butler who is standing in the corner.
"Thank you, I'll see you tomorrow Collin." I excuse myself and walk to the door, before I leave Collin wishes me a good night. 

I slowly walk back to my room, it's a light gray colour. It has a bed a closet a desk with my laptop on it, witch I got trading it for golden leaves. Next to my desk is a door that leads to my bathroom. It's nothing special but it's my save place,  the first place I wasn't feared or seen as a tool. This has been my home for 6 years, I was only 10 when Collin found me hungry and scared and took me here. I can't believe I will leave this save haven to babysit Collin's sons.

I grab my backpack from my closest and grab my photo and sketch book, my laptop and my charger aswell as my toothbrush and my stuffed bunny. He lost his tail and one of his ears has a gold stain on it, but he reminds me of my family.

I dump my clothes into the hamper and slide into my pj's, I'll shower tomorrow morning.  I pull the duvet out of my way  and get into bed and comfortably nestling my head on the pillow before drifting of to sleep.
