Chapter 4 The begaining of the End

     Tahna held me as tears ran down my eyes. " Why ? Why Tahna why must she leave me , why must she leave us?" Tahna kissed my forehead as he spoke " My dear , princess Thailia , One day you will walk in your mothers foot steps. you will be Queen of Cladia." Tahna turned and faced me as our eyes met. " Tahna don't  leave." He sat in the floor with me as I slowly feel asleep in his arms. The Moon rose and the sun sat, the hours past. " Thailia lets get you in bed." Tahna woke me up. He helped me to get to my feet as we slowly walked to my bed room. " Good night Thailia."

  That night I had a dream . Mother and I were in the meadow picking colorful flowers, Blue, purple, red, pink we picked them all. Then A man walked up. He was Tall, dark , evil. He was wearing all black and had a mask on. He grabbed my mother and carried her away form me, leaving my there Clouds Gathered around me. I screamed,and screamed. I cried out " No Mother come Back."

   Tahna ran in my bed room thought the bookcase door. " Thailia are you OK?" I gasped for air as I sat up in my bed. " Yeah just a nightmare." I scooted over as he sat beside me . "Was it about the Queen?" I fell into his arms as he put his head on mine.As we sat there he looked over at me. " Thailia?" Our eyes met as we moved closer , I kissed him as he put his hand on my check., as We continued  the normal kiss turned into a 3 minute kiss. "Love Me?" He looked shocked As I finished his words. " Yes , yes I do Love you."  his checks turned red. "Tahna I love you too but . right now, I can't. Cladia needs me."  I looked down. Tahna turned me head to him " I need you."

 The sun rose as I found Tahna had left the night before. A red dress was laid out for me by Zeolla. I got dressed and went to the morning table where Tahna and Zoella were sitting. I sat beside Tahna as he poured me a cup of tea. " Thank you Tahna." I got a muffin as Zoella walked in the kitchen. " The funeral is today Thailia." Tahna moved his hand on mine." I know you don't have to remind me!" I moved my hand and stormed off to my bed room. I shut my door in case Tahna followed me, I didn't want to be seen , I just wanted to be alone, By my self.

  " Moon." I yelled out my window and the white shecat's bell rang. She jumped on my shoulder as I walked to my desk. " Thailia I'm sorry about Queen Lunasa." Moon purred as she rubbed her head on my arm. A tear ran down my face as I walked over to my book case and Grabbed the my first book ,The Queen had given me it for my 5th birthday. She taught me how to read, write and add. She was more than a mom , she was my teacher. I walked over to my desk. I put the book down and laid my head down. " Princess Thailia, It's Tahna I'm so sorry to make you up set. Can I come in?"  I sat up and fixed my crown. " Its open." He walked over and pulled up and empty chair beside of mine. " No I'm sorry. I let my anger come over me. I guess I could use a break."  He kissed me as I finished. Moon Jumped on my shoulder and broke us apart as we laughed. He walked out of my room. " Moon!" I laughed

            I brushed my hair as Tahna walked in. " You look Beautiful Thailia. Are you ready?" Tahna was escorted me to the funeral. " Yes." We walked down the stairs and outside. Tahna grasped my hand as we walked to the chapel. Most of Cladia was sitting in the one room.  As We walked by the governor, mothers friends , her family I keep my tears in than we sat down in the front.

   The piaster stood in the front as he began." Family, Friends , loyal people of Cladia , The kingdom has lost a powerful leader. Queen Lunasa now walks with the father in heaven. she was a kind, warm , thoughtful queen. She would give her life to Anyone of us. She was a faithful leader, a gentle Mother and a strong Woman. She loved he country , her children and her people. When she was just alittle girl she played outside in the feilds , she watched our Empire grow. She grew with the empire you might say. She was loved. Now king Dagen would like to say a word."

  Father stood up and walked to the center. " My wife , My queen , my love. She raised my children , she was my right hand , the light and the love of Cladia. She ruled with her heart , her mind and the judgment of her people. She loved and cared for all the people of Cladia From the smallest fairy to the largest beasts. She was my support when I needed it, She would lose her life so that I would live . And I would do the same , but now , now I wish I could see her smile. "
