Chapter 3

After the long night we all had we all fell asleep in mines and Bree's apartment. Ernie and Jessica got there about noon. We were all barley getting up. Ernie and Jessica see that we all look tired and were a little upset cause they thought we did something without telling them. Cesar and Jace start to explain to them what really happened while I was outside on the phone talking to an old buddy of mine. I wanted to know everything about that thing that went after the kids last night. It was crazy that he came here. I wonder why he chose my son and my nephew. Plus the way he looked at me.

When I get off the phone I walk back in I see everyone is talking ad having a great time. I smile and try to not let it bug me. I have other things to think about. Plus I know the people I called will get all the information I need. I start to think we need some way to protect them that don't involve my cousin. I would love to get their help but I have a complicated relationship with them. I have a flash back of the time when we were all together it was in 1854. Alan and me were the closes. Me and Alan use to sword fight for practice. One day we were just goofing around when my uncle got upset at us.

He tried killing us but lucky my father was a kind and wise man stopped him from killing us Alan's father was a little upset that he stopped him. My father told him were still young and that we are foolish and still children at heart to let it go or he would make him let it go. His father looks at both of us and walks away. I come back to reality. Bree was saying my name over and over till I answered her. I said What. She said are you hungry we made breakfast. I say Oh yeah I'm hungry. She looks at me like she knows something is wrong and asks me if I was okay. I say Yeah I'm fine.

She says in a curious way Are you sure? I say Yeah I just had a flash back of seething. Don't worry about it I'm fine thought. She says Okay. Let's go eat. We all started eating I kept spacing out during breakfast. After everyone left a little later and after Bree put Araic to sleep I was sitting on the couch with a cup of scotch. She sits right next to me and says What's on your mind and don't tell me it's nothing I know their something bugging you. I say We need to protect the kids but I know there's one way to but I don't want to go there. She tills her head a little and says What's that?

I say We can call my cousins. Briaunna looks at me and says The Adams? I say in a cracked voice Yeah them. She says Babe is that's what's been bothering you all day. I look at her and nod yes. She says Babe if you want to talk to them talk to them and if you don't want them to help that's fine. I know we aren't the perfect parents in the whole wide world but at least we are the great ones. We all make mistakes in life. I smile at her and say That's why I love you. I kiss her she says Well I know one thing that would cheer you up. I look at her and say And what is that?

She whispers into my ear I pick her up and say Oh you are such a bad girl. We went to the bedroom to have sex. when we fell asleep I kept having dreams about that thing coming after Araic and Heilos again. In this dream he takes them. I wake up really sweaty. I go back to sleep in the morning Bree wakes up before me and starts to try to kiss my neck I wake up and say like nothing is wrong with me I say Good morning beautiful. She says Time for out good morning kiss. She kisses me for a second than stops. She says Is there something else you want to tell me?                 

I say I think we need a protection spell on the kids. She sits up and says I think you're right but we don't know any spells. Tyler says I know someone who can teach us one but it will only last a year. She says That's fine. We'll do it every year if we have to. I look at her smile and say I love you. She says come on let's get up and start the day. We got up do what we do we had to do. I get on the phone and call the friend that I know who will teach Bree and Cesar the spell. The phone was ringing. A man answered he said Hello. I said Phill? Phill said Anderson? Nikklaus Anderson?
