I Continue to Love

I continue to love you in silence and secrets
For love such as this, is doomed only to regrets
Unreciprocated, unrequited, impossible feeling
Said gap was too wide- like hell to ceiling

I still love you from a distance without you knowing
And only my fantasy closes the spaces of longing
Every romance I read, pretending that we were
Inside the story, replacing the main characters

I can only love you when I close my eyes
And in that place, fairytale lies
With so much love, prettier than sunrise
Then I wake up, my ever after dies

I would love you with my life if given a chance
Breaking silence, revealing secrets, closing distance
I would wake up from my dream, make you my reality
It would only be possible of if you choose to love me

Still love remains to be desire, a wish, a dream
One I could never force or demand from him
This aching heart cries out lub dub lub dub
Painfully screaming for the one it loves

I'll continue, would still, would only love you
May stop, may pretend, but it'll remain true
I may divert my attention, sing a new song
But remember, to you I still belong
