Prologue

Traitors and Liars.

It was a quiet night. A few raindrops fell from the sky and it started to rain. It was dark. The only light left was the snowwhite moon in the starry nightsky. The silence was interrupted by the thundering of paws on the hard ground. Unsheated claws glinted in the moonlight. "Attack!" A black wolf yowled, his yellow eyes only visible in the shadows.
The screeching and yowling of wolves filled the forest. Koda stared down from the hill. If they won this battle, they would rule the forest- No, he would rule the forest. Once they won this, every wolf in the pack would respect him, and once everyone sleeps, he will kill the alpha and become the new leader. He jumped down and joined the battle. Blood covered the once green grass, his paws being soaked in it as he ran over it. He jumped on the first wolf he saw, and killed him with a single blow.
More wolves from the enemy appeared and he heard a familiar voice. "Koda! Go left!" It was Logan, his alpha. "No!" He said while running the opposite way. Don't worry Logan, you'll be death by morning anyway. He attacked a few other wolves before realising they were outnumbered. "Shit" he mumbled. It was only a few heartbeats before he heard the pathetic words: "Retreat!". His pack started to go back into the deep forest. Koda stared deeply into his alpha's eyes before he padded away. "Losers!" He heard in the far distance. Just wait, just you all wait! I'll kill all of you if i have to!

Hope this is okay, haven't written anything for a few weeks since i can't log into my old account anymore. I'll write whenever i have inspiration :) This book will be about Koda, and his dark plans to take over the pack.
