ALEX POV

The time for the party has finally arrived. I was wearing a pink pencil skirt along with a cropped matching top to show off my belly button piercing. Gray was wearing ripped jeans with an expensive leather jacket. We were looking quite spiffy if you ask me.

The first to arrive was my best friend Leah. She looked BEAUTIFUL!! After she arrived everyone else started rolling in: Nate, the other Alex, Aaron, Cam Dolan, and Cam dallas.

Where is ethan and his "girl"?

"Cam!!"

Both Cameron Dallas and Cameron Dolan turned their heads and in unison blurted, "what?"

Oops. Totally forgot about the fact that there are two Camerons here. I am very good friends with them both, but for now I need to pull Mr.Dallas aside.

Before I could speak he looked me up and down, "wow Alex...you clean up nicely."

I shot back, "Yeah Grayson thinks so too."

"Oh, I-"

I cut him off. "Look I know Ethan tells you his secrets when he needs to. Do you know who this so called "mystery girl" is?"

He hesitated for a minute, "uh-hmmm... pretty sure she's a model or something."

And before we could continue, in walks ethan and everyone turns their head to see who this girl is.

Meredith FUCKING Mickelson.

I thought the thing they had was over with !??

Grayson looks over at me with his mouth open and eyebrows raised.

Grayson's POV

This baffles my mind. Meredith tore Ethan's heart into pieces in the past. They stopped talking because she left him for Kian L. He grew as a man and learned from that experience ever since, so I have no idea why he would put himself at risk with his emotions.

"Ethan come here." I motioned my arm towards me.

I looked over at ethan as he let go of her hand and left her with my sister as he came towards me.

"Ethan what the actual fuck are you doing?" I raised a brow.

He looked down at the ground before he formulated his response.

"Look dude, she was my first love and ever since she left me I have felt like I lost a puzzle piece and I was incomplete."

The temperature inside me began to rise, "BUT REMEMBER HOW EASY SHE DROPPED YOU?? YOU REALLY GONNA FALL FOR THAT SHIT AGAIN??!"

His face turned bright red, i knew I was right.

I rest my hand on his shoulder, "ethan listen, you're my brother, I love you, and I don't want to see you hurt. That's why I'm so heated about this okay? I just care about you. But I will let you do what you need to do, but don't say I didn't warn you."

Alex's POV

It was toward the end of the night and everyone was at this point chilling comfortably in the family room as we all were sharing funny stories with one another.

Every time ethan would speak I would look at Leah as she would have a bright sparkle in her as she watched his every move. Does she STILL like him?? They were literally dating for a hot minute forever ago.

So I decided to do the sly "best friend text" and pulled my phone out.

Alex: do you STILL have feelings for E?👀

And she did what is every girl's nightmare.

"Alex why did you just text me?"

REALLY BITCH?? YOU COULDNT HAVE JUST LOOKED AT IT???

My face became warm as I just waiting for her to answer.

Leah: I mean I don't know.
