violets POV

it was dark and cold with only a t shirt to cover my arms.

I was annoyed because I was never able to find a stable shelter until I saw a faint light in the distance.

that sent me sprinting as soon as I got to there I was greeted by a  man with a beard. he was assisted by a woman with long dark dreads.

the man with the beard started "How old are you what's your name, how many walkers have you killed people and why " he said.

"well I'm 16 my name is violet cray and more then I remember and none. I said as he nodded " well my name is Rick and I'd like you to meet my boy Carl "he said as a boy a foot taller then me walked over.

a dusty sheriffs hat covering his head. he looked at me and then to his rick " hi" he said emotionless as he pulled out a cigarette.

"violet your gonna be sharing a room with Carl unless you want to sleep with Judith" Rick said .

i decided I will share a cell with Carl so I walked up the stairs onto d block and found the cell.

it's was a bunk bed so i put my bag on the ground and left and waited till night to see what bed he took.

I walked into the dinner area and was greeted by a blonde girl the same age as me.

" hi "she said with a huge smile " I'm Beth and your name is vio...violet right" Beth said " yeah my name is violet " she handed me a bowl of ramen " here" she said as he sat down at a table across from Carl.

the are eyes met and his ocean blue eyes stared into mine. I quickly turned my head breaking the eye contact.

me and Beth talked about our lives before the whole apocalypse started and where we went to school it was safe to say we were friends.

I got up walking out the door and someone fallowing me and I let out a gasp as someone squeezed my butt. I turned around facing a smiling Carl.

"why did you do that" I said crossing my arms " I can't lie but you have a nice butt" he said.

I turned around " I'm going to bed" I said waving him of like a fly on a window. " well then I'm going" he said walking into the cell with me.

he quickly jumped on the top bunk clearly that the top was his. " Carl turn around pleas I need to change" I said he groaned and rolled over putting his head under the pillow.

I quickly put my grey sweat pants on and my blue tank top on then climbed into bed.

"good night violet"Carl said half asleep " night Carl " I said and I dozed of into my dreams.

I awoke to a crying Judith, I got up changing brushing my hair and my teeth.

I look at the top bunk and Carl was already awake. I ran down stairs hungrier then ever. I waited in line and then was handed a plait of oatmeal by a older looking lady "thanks" I said "anytime" she smiled as I walked away .

Beth sat at a table in the corner waiving her hands so I saw her.

I walked towards her and she hugged me saying that her daddy would like to meet me in the little clinics hey have after breakfast.

as soon as I was done I walked to were she told me to go. I walked to the door the knocked on the door. a older man opens the door and smiled sweetly then greeted me to sit down.

he said his name was Hershel and he was the doctor there and of i ever needed anything go to him.

I walked out closing the door behind me walking to my cell. Carl sat there reading a comic book. he just looked at me and said nothing.
