Some Stupid Games

I rose up from my bed and looked at the clock - 2:17pm. I tried removing Louis' arms from my waist, but it was no use. How did we fit in a single bed? I gripped his hands softly and lifted them up, so he was hugging the pillow. I slid out of the bed without warning, and put on my hoodie that was swinging on the edge of my bed.

"Where's Lou?" Jenni asked, and shifted herself on the bar stool.

"He's still sleeping." I shivered and rubbed my hands together.

"I told him not to stay out late," Niall laughed.

"So, do you feel good?" Harry asked.

"Why would you ask that?" I raised an eyebrow, and he laughed.

"Don't worry about him, he's taking it the wrong way. He'd love to make a girl feel good though." Liam winked at me and threw a pillow at his head.

Harry smiled and shrugged, "Sorry. Where do you find a girl as pretty as Danielle?" He nudged Liam's side.

"Are you hitting on Danielle?" Liam frowned and rested his head on her shoulder.

"No. But I---"

"You still know that you're with Joyce, don't you?" Harry sighed deeply, and frowned.

"What the hell did you do to Joyce?!" Jenni shrieked and ran to Harry.

"Everybody knows what Harry would do to Joyce." Niall groaned.

"Nothing! She had to go back to Sydney for a while because it was an emergency,"

"Or did you break up with her?" Jenni exclaimed.

"I did not! She's all I wanted in life!"

The room filled with "Oh's" and "Aw's" and Liam hugged him tightly. "Thank God for Caroline Flack!"

"Hey guys," Louis yawned, and tossed his beanie onto the rack.

"You're finally out of my bed." I groaned.

"You were in her bed?" Zayn laughed. Louis nodded, and swung his arm around my shoulder.

"Sleeping." I muttered. I walked up to Niall and sat next to him on the couch.

"Anything else?" Harry smirked. I shook my head frantically, and turned on the TV.

"Spin the bottle anyone?" Liam asked, and placed a plastic bottle on the coffee table. He smirked at Danielle suspiciously, and turned back to us. I hated spin the bottle. My stomach hurted, I had a heavy feeling in my head, and all I wanted to do to get out of the game is run away. There's so many things that could happen. But why was he suggesting it now?

"Why now?" I asked.

"This the first time where we actually spend a whole day together, with Danielle. Why can't we feel Danielle welcome?" Anything for a friend, I'll do. But did it have to be spin the bottle? I know why he wants to though. It's chance, the bottle can't always land on Danielle for Liam.

"Who's spinning it first?" I groaned quietly, and stared at the bottle. What if I'll hurt someone's feelings? Or either way, what if someone hurts anyone's feelings?

"You are." They all said. I wimpered softly. I shivered as I grabbed the bottle, and forcing it to spin, it's way to breaking someone's heart for all I know, I just don't know who's. I tapped my thigh constantly, waiting for it to stop. My heart was beating loud and hard. No one should be worrying this much, it's just a game.

A stupid, slutty game.

There were chuckles from the others, and I looked down at the bottle. Niall James Horan. Why? It's not like I didn't like him, I do like him. I ran my hands down my face. "No offence Nialler." I mumbled through the gaps of my fingers. "I'll kiss the lamp!" I banged my fists on the table.

"No Julia, you have to do it." Danielle smiled. I gazed at Louis, and his blue eyes were filled with worry, and the expression on his face was fear. Why was he worrying about me?

Niall took a deep breath, and we looked into each other's eyes from across the table, for what seemed like hours. We both leaned over the table, and I shivered at the feeling of everyone staring at us. "Hurry up already..." Jenni groaned. She stood up and pushed our heads together, our lips moving slowly together. I pulled away, as Niall smiled at me and Louis blushed a dark scarlet. The others cheered, but deep inside, I felt sorry for Louis. I knew he liked me, he told me, and I felt guilty so much. Although, the kiss didn't mean anything to me, but what did Niall feel?

"Louis' turn." We all said, except for me. I'm staying quiet the whole way through, no one's stopping me. He sighed and gave the bottle a neat spin. We watched as it slowed down, and it landed on Jenni. I raised an eyebrow at her as her jaw dropped. I clenched my fist against my lips, trying to keep my laugh in. I shrugged at her, meaning that I wouldn't care... maybe just a little bit.

They both leaned over the table, everyone staring at them like they were about to maul each other to pieces. Their lips met for about a second and they pulled away. A simple kiss on the lips. No big deal. It was about a second. The room was silent, the others possibly not amused by their kiss. I shrugged it off and broke the silence. "Who's turn?"

"Zayn." Harry turned the bottle to Zayn. Zayn sighed heavily, and spun it. It always lands on the person that we don't want to kiss, but it's a game.

"Jenni... are you sure you don't want a tissue or a glass of water?" I chuckled as I watched her wipe her lips with her t-shirt. I rolled my eyes and passed her a tissue. She ripped it and used the left over piece of tissue to wipe her mouth.

The bottle pointed at Danielle, and Liam was shocked. He blushed pink, and coughed sarcastically. "That's enough for today, why don't we play something else..." I said slowly and hid the bottle under the table, so we could forget what just happened.

"Liam is the mature one here, he's the one who suggested it." Niall frowned.

"Did you want to wait for Louis to scream it out loud?" Our eyes widened, and we shook our heads.

"Offensive..." Louis wimpered and curled up onto a ball on the couch. His head shot up, and he smiled. "Who has the darkest room in the house?" He asked.

"I do," Zayn raised his arm up. "It's the biggest as well."

"Murder in the dark!" Louis and I shouted. It was our favourite game when we were younger, so you can't blame us.

"It's better than spin the bottle," Jenni shrugged and nodded. The rest nodded, and we all ran to Zayn's room.

"Woah! Before we fall onto each other!" Louis exclaimed, and held himself in the door frame. He reached to his right and flicked on the light switch. We all ran in, and we were utterly shocked. It was clean. Bloody clean. Bloody damn clean.

"At least I won't have a carpet burn this time, thanks to your clothes!" I said to Louis.

"That was 8 years ago, come on!" He laughed. I loved our friendship.

"4. 3. 2... 1. I'm coming inside now," Zayn said and opened the door. He was about to flick the light switch on, until Liam stopped him.

"Don't you understand murder in the dark?" He exclaimed, but Zayn had no clue where he was though.

"Oh right." He chuckled, and closed the door. "Come out wherever you are!"

"That doesn't work anymore." Louis said from behind me. His hands gripped on my shoulders tightly as we heard Zayn come near us, and I leaned back a bit. There was a lot of noise, possibly Zayn tripping over things and getting a bruise.

"Found you... whoever you are..." Zayn muttered, and started patting my head. I leaned back, and accidently tumbled onto Louis' stomach. My eyes widened, but Zayn was nearing us, and I had to stay where I was. "Oh well."

I sighed quietly. Louis ran his hands through my hair, and kept me laying down on his stomach. He played with my hair, and we watched Zayn carefully. We held our laughs in as he tripped over his own bed, and tumbled over onto the other side.

"It's been an hour, but I'm not giving up!" Zayn shouted. He'll do anything to get his hairspray back.
