The Girl Next Door!

Hi I'm Hadie Hills and I'm moving houses today. I'm getting the biggest room. My brother Jason is getting the smallest room and my mom has a decent sized room. When we arrived at the house we unpacked some of our stuff and went to go meet the neighbors. Their house is creepy but it's an old house. My mom knocked on the door and this girl that looked about my age greeted me. "Hello, I'm Raven, Raven Claw". I said back, "Hi, we're new here." My mom had to but in like she always does "Hi, I'm their mother. This is Hadie and over there, playing in the leaves is Jason, my youngest." Then Raven said "That's my mom reading the newspaper and that's my older brother Matthew I'm 7, I...I mean 15, ,no...umm...16 years old" I could tell that she was lying about her age. I said "Hey, I'm 15 ½ turning 16 tomorrow." Raven said "oh really, I have something special for you, how about you spend the night tomorrow. Yeah. Okay. See you tomorrow, bye." I could tell that something weird was going on but, oh well. My mom yelled "JASON GET OVER HERE. COME MEET THE NEIGHBORS." "Whaaat. Oh, hi I'm Jason and I'm totally single. Oh yeah, and I am 15 years old." I said "No you're not your 12 years old, DUHHH." My mom said "GOODBYE, SEE YOU TOMORROW. Time for you guys to go to bed." So I went in my room with only my bed and a pile of clothes that I'm packing for tomorrow night. When all of a sudden I heard screaming from Raven's house but I was tired so I just ignored it and went to bed.

The next morning I woke up in joy because it was my birthday today but I went sad right away because also to day was the day that I spend the night at Ravens house if that's actually her real name. So I just went downstairs to eat then my mom said "did you pack for your sleep over yet." I just started to cry well so did Jason my mom said "what's wrong honey" I said "nothing these are just tired tears." I lied because my mom wanted me to make new friends. Then we had no one come over for my party oh well. More cake for us. After the cake we, well I opened the presents. All I got was a notebook and a pen. I don't know why but I just used it for random things. After my party Raven knocked on the door to pick me up. "Are you ready?" I felt like saying no but I did not want to be mean. "Um.... n... I... I... mean yes." So I got my stuff and headed out to her house. As soon as we walked in her house she gave me a big and I mean a BIG list of rules.

1. No shoes on carpet

2. Don't go near the family hangout

3. Be nice

4. Be good

5. Don't go in the floorless room

6. Listen

7. Don't touch the fish tank

8. Don't touch the trophy case

9. Don't go in raven's room by yourself

10. Don't make raven mad

11. No ruff housing

12. Go to bed at 9:30

13. Don't go to bed in raven's room

Numbers 2, 5, 9, 10 and 13 made me kind of scared to spend the night here. We got here around 9:00 so we had to get ready for bed so I put my pj's on in the bathroom. I was scared when we had to go to bed. so at about 11:00 I went to use the bathroom and when I got out of the bathroom raven was right in front of the couch and said. "Didn't you read the list? Read the list. Read the list. Read the list. READ THE LIST!" and ran for me. I ran to her room and hid behind the bed. Then I remembered #9 on the list raven gave me. So I went under the bed and got out of the room and opened a door and went in it. I fell down and thought that this was the surprise she was talking about yesterday. As I hit the floor I passed out. In the morning I woke up cold on the floor and couldn't remember a thing. But the memory came quick to me. I screamed for help but it seemed as if no one was awake besides her older brother Matthew. He came to the door and flipped the latter down so that I could get up. When I got up ravens family was all on the couch. Raven's mom asked if I was ok and told raven to apologies to me. "I'm so so sorry I lost control of myself last night." I didn't say anything besides. "I'm going home."
