Prologue

“Seunghee-ya! We’re running late!” Yuta calls on his girlfriend of 2 years, while waiting just outside her apartment.

She steps out of the room looking dazzling. She’s always been the prettiest around town and in the campus. And now that they’re graduating, she’s even become prettier with stress. She’s someone who blooms even more when facing problems. Is that even possible? Yes, with Oh Seunghee.

And his boyfriend Nakamoto Yuta is one of the most sought after gentlemen in the campus. He’s loved by most and his jolly personality is his prime point.

“Why are you always in a hurry? The movie’s not going anywhere,” she intertwines her arm with his and they walk together.

“Cuz you’re always late,” he tells her while pinching her nose.

She only puts her tongue out at him in a childish way and they head on to the cinemas with him driving them around the city.

They first knew each other in high school and eventually, they came across each other again in college and it bloomed into love. Their two-year relationship is supposedly going strong and they both hope so.

“Oppa! I’m done with the cookies! Will you taste them for me?” Chaeyeon yells from the kitchen.

“I’ll be right there!” Jeonghan shouts from the living room.

He’s till busy watching the latest football game. He doesn’t miss any game of the Korean football team and once he’s watching, he will never stand up for anything or anyone. She knows about this and she waits for minutes for him in the kitchen. She just wanted to test him, if he values her more than the football game but she unsurprisingly fails. She knew from the start that it’s gonna be like this. She obliges after 15 minutes and walks to him instead.

She’s sulking as she sits beside him, nibbling on the cookies she made.

“Where’s mine?” he asks still ignorant of her mood, not even turning away from the TV set.

“You’ll have nothing, just watch your beloved game till the end!”

He still ignores her even with this and just sips on his cup of tea. She’s used to it, being with him for one year has made her accept this side of him. Though she’ll never get used to the irritating feeling every time.

Yoon Jeonghan and Jung Chaeyeon are in a relationship. They met at the subway station one day, when she was so late she forced the door of the train open and he helped her. It turned out they attended the same primary school and they started from there.  It has only been a year and they’ve almost get to know each other a little too well. Little misunderstandings and differences are still in the way of their blooming love but they believe it’s only making them stronger. They both thought so.

Until the fated day, that Seunghee and Jeonghan’s paths crosses. All things will turn the way they all never expected too. Finding the right person at the wrong time sucks. And this will take their lives into a journey of pain and suffering but will bring true and lasting love.
