annie: pick me up asap
brennan: why?
annie: just do it. i need to talk to you anyway
brennan: be there in 5
at this moment in time, i was scared. i wanted my mom. i was nervous about explaining everything to brennan. this was a huge mistake. luke came in the office and sat next to me.
silence. complete silence
brennan's pov--
i loved annie with all my heart, i still do i guess, i'm just super confused. how could she do this to me? why would she stump down to luke's level? she's so much better than that.
i arrived at the school, and in that moment i realized luke would be in the office with annie . who knows what help do to me.
as i walked in the doors, i tried to look confident on the outside, but on the inside i was crumbling. i walked into the office and saw annie waiting
"hey anns"
"hey!" she responded
"excuse me, what?" luke interrupted
"what?" i responded
luke got up and began to get in my face.
"DO NOT call her anns, that's my thing" luke whispered sternly
at this point, i just ran. no way was i gonna fight luke. noooo chance
annie's pov--
"we need to talk" i told brennan
"yeah, we do" he said back as he focused on the road.
"look, here's the story. i'm super scared of luke, right? yeah, so he told me i had to come to his house, or else. i was super scared and i went. it turned into him kissing me and i guess i kissed back.... honestly i don't know what i was doing. the (true) rumor went around about the hickey and we got in trouble. everything so stressful and-"
brennan cut me off my kissing me
"it's okay." he said back
