Laugh to keep from crying

I opened my eyes and ran to the window. It's snowing! It's snowing! I ran to my sister samantha's room. "Sam! Sam!" I yelled. She groned and rolled over. "Whaaat???" I pulled her arm towards the window. "It's Snowing It's snowing!!!" I cried. She looked out the window.  "i-i'mso sorry winter, but if the.....Humans catch us they'll.....You know..." I folded my ears back. " But, Maybe we can go in the back yard?" She sighed and told me to get ready. After a plate of waffles, I took one glimpse over at our bookshelf which was filled with Sonic The Hedgehog comics. You see, We love sonic, And we've always wanted to meet him. But it's never happened. We went outside. Affter a hour we heard what sounded like a kid laughing than we heard a more teenage like "MILES PROWER!!!" I didn't worry about it but then we heard someone whimper. I knew only Our kind could do so so i told sam." Sorry but we are not cheacking that out!"
