The Sickening Splinter
If I walked away
Would You love me then?
Or leave me
On this broken string,
That I hang by
Like a noose.
Crushing my image
Of You out of me
Until I can’t remember
Your face.
Cuz’ I’m trying to say
In so many ways
How much I
Live.
Love.
Breath.
For You
The words just won’t
Come out,
I would look weak in your eyes
That’s something I couldn’t take.
Would You think me selfish if I stayed?
As I fall into this
Hopeless death,
Would you cry?
Would everything remind you of me?
I hope so.
Cuz’ I’m trying to say
In so many ways
How much I
Live.
Love.
Breath.
For You
The words just won’t
Come out,
I would look weak in your eyes
That’s something I couldn’t take.
Would You think me selfish if I stayed?
Don’t avoid the subject,
Don’t avoid
Don’t reject my question
Rejection! Rejection!
I know what I need
And You don’t need me.
If I took you away from all
That reminded you of her,
Could You love me?
Could You learn to try?
Cuz’ I’m trying to say
In so many ways
How much I
Live.
Love.
Breath.
For you
The words just won’t
Come out,
I would look weak in your eyes
That’s something I couldn’t take.
Would think me selfish if I stayed?
Cuz’ having you hate me
May keep me more intact than you think.
‘Cause I want you more than You think I need.
More than You think
