Chapter 17

A/N so I'm at home sick today ugh so here is the update

Thomas's POV:

I walk out of the theater with Alex's hand in mine. I smile down at her "enjoy the movie?" I tease knowing she hates when I pick scary movies

She rolls her eyes and hits my arm playfully "sure" she says in her cute little sarcastic voice.

I laugh and pull her against me. "I love you" I say kissing her cheek

Alex's POV:

"I love you too" I say back smiling before looking over at Destiney. If never really talked to many girls before because of the way they always make fun of me. She seems like a really nice girl but I was still nervous. I was broken out of my thoughts when I hear a voice next to me

"Hey" Destiney says smiling brightly

I smile back "hi" i say quietly

"you seem pretty shy" she laughs softly "but don't worry, I don't bite" she teases

I laugh "that's a truth that I'm shy but most people don't usually bite" I joke smiling

She giggles and jumps as Colton comes behind her wrapping his arms around her waist

"Jumpy aren't we?" He teases resting his chin on her shoulder.

I roll my eyes playfully "you wish" I reply laughing but end up letting out a small shriek as Thomas does the exact same thing.

Colton laughs "uh huh sure" he says sarcastically

Destiney and I both laugh.

"Destiney and I are going for a walk" Colton says smiling

Thomas and I both nod and decide to walk by the park together. We swing our hands together making me giggle. He smiles down at me an pecks my lips before leading me over to the swings and sitting down on one and me sitting beside him. We swing for a while just chatting when I happen to look up to see a figure standing on the other side of the street. I curiously stare at it until I realize Thomas was talking to me

"What's wrong?" He asks following my gaze.

Just then the man looks up and my heart stops as I see his face in the dim light. "We have to go. Like now" I say my voice shaking slightly.

"What why?" He asks concern filling his eyes as he stands up unable to see who was standing on the opposite side of the road.

"We have to go" I repeat standing up and grabbing his hand starting to walk down the sidewalk and instantly start to walk faster as he starts to follow us.

"Alex what are you doing?" Thomas asks stopping me and turning me to face him

"Please can we just go?" I ask frantically and whimper softly as a hand closes around my shoulder

"Where do you think you're going?" An all too familiar voice says huskily in my ear

Before I knew what was happening I was pulls away from Thomas and a cloth was held to my mouth and nose and I had no choice but to breathe in the sickly sweet scent. The last thing I saw was a fist connection with Thomas's face before I blacked out...

A/N so I know it's a cliffhanger but I'm tired and people keep wanting me to update so here it is. Just to let everyone know for all of you awesomely weird people out there this story will NOT get dirty. Sorry for people who want that but I suck at writing that and yeah.
