Peppermint Winter

This is another story of mine that I wanted to upload before Christmas but I was unable to. It's late, but I wanted to post it, so I hope you enjoy! :)

Yoosung's POV

There's the snow
Look out below
And bundle up
Cause here it comes

I use the new video chat feature and call every RFA member, asking them to come over for some hot cocoa and a movie. "Sure! I'll be there in a few minutes!" "I'll come too, just as long as Mr.Han doesn't ask me to do any work." "Alright Assistant Kang, you've got the whole day off. I'll come as well." "I don't have rehearsals today, so I can make it!" "Seven, how about you?" "...I don't know...I'm not really up to it." "Wha-?! But Seven, we almost had everyone coming! It wouldn't be the same without you!! Come on, just pleeaasee-" "Just kidding! Of course I'll come! Hahaha! I'll be there in a couple of minutes!"
After hanging up, I changed out of my pj's and into some casual clothes. I took a look outside and see that it snowed last night, so I put on some gloves and a jacket so that I can build a snowman while I wait for them to come.

Run outside
So starry eyed
A snowball fight breaks out
And winter has finally begun

I run outside, looking at the winter wonderland before me. It looks amazing! The snow even looks sparkly! I start building the snowman, just barely making a snowball sized ball for it's body before being hit on the back. I turn around and see (Y/N) standing behind me, giggling. I smirk and pick up the snowball I have and threw it at her, hitting her stomach. We laughed as we closed up to each other. We were coming in for a hug when a couple of snowballs hit our sides. "Ello~!" We looked to the direction of the voice. Seven and the others are here! A snowball fight broke out with everyone. Now it really feels like winter! I feel like I'm a little kid again!

I twirl through the driveway with angelic grace
'Til I slip on the sidewalk and fall on my face

What's December without Christmas Eve

In my happiness I start to spin around, just moving wherever. I feel so light and graceful...until I slip on some ice and fall on my face. Oww! My nose... I lift my head up from the snow and see (Y/N)'s face in front of mine. She giggles and kisses my forehead, warming it up. I blush and stand up, returning the favor by kissing her cheek.

(Y/N)'s POV

Hop in the sleigh
And we'll glide away
Into the night
And we'll sip on moonlight
Runny nose
My frosty toes
Are getting cold but I feel alive
So I smile wide

We all stopped fighting and went inside. We took a seat in the living room and took a picture together. Then we all got comfy and drank some hot chocolate with marshmellows while starting a movie. I wish I had extra clothes...I'm so cold!! I feel a sudden warmth and look to the side it is coming from. I see a blushing Yoosung, holding me close. Despite the cold, I feel good, so I smile happily and lean my head on his shoulder.

***Time Skip, Next day***

The snowflakes start falling and I start to float
'Til my mean older brother stuffs snow down my coat
This peppermint winter is so sugar sweet
I don't need to taste to believe
What's December without Christmas Eve

I head outside now that I have some free time. I go to the field of snow and just look around at the beautiful sight. Everything looks so pretty and white! I'm even starting to feel kinda light, as if I'm hovering, while memories flood my brain and start making me nostalgic. "Gah!" I feel cold, snow run down my coat. I turn to see (B/N) laughing behind me. "Haha, got'cha!" Must. Have. Revenge! I grab a handful of snow and shove it down his coat and laugh as I watch him jump around trying to get the snow out. Justice served! "I'm gonna get you again for that, (Y/N)!" "Oh yeah?" "Yeah!" "We'll see about that!" We both scooped up some snow in our hands and started running, while laughing as we goofed around.

***Time skip, Yoosung's house, same day***

All this holiday cheer
Heaven knows where it goes
But it returns every year
And though this winter does nothing but storm
The joy in my heart is ablaze and it's keeping me warm

Yoosung and I are at his place, watching Home Alone 2 together, just the two of us. I lean on him, nice and warm while we watch and laugh and just have a great time. I am so happy that I can live my life with him!

***Time skip, a few years later***

(Y/C/N)'s POV

I rip off the wrapping and tear through the box
'Til I end up with 45 new pairs of socks

What's December without Christmas Eve

I sit by the tree, unwrapping the gifts I got from my family. A bunch of them came over for a big Christmas dinner! I've got a remote control car, a new video game, a shirt, an action figure and pj's! Also...a bunch of socks. I'm thankful for what I have though, so I run up to everyone and give them a hug. Then I run to my parents. I give my dad a big bear hug and my mom and baby sister a kiss on the cheek. "(Y/N), Yoosung, (Y/C/N)! Close up so that we can snap you a picture!" Instructed (A/N). We all closed up. Mom held (B/S/N) and dad picked me up and put me on his shoulders. We smiled and posed for the picture, all of us smiling brightly.
