Chapter 4: Taken?! By Her?!

(Shaylee's POV)

i am now staying down here with April and these boys and their father. They were pretty weary about me for a little. The red masked turtle Raph i think, he let me sleep in his bed while he took the beanbag chair. i skipped into the kitchen and i saw Leo, Donnie, Mikey, April, Raph, and Master Splinter. i giggled and ran over to April and whispered into her ear,
"Today is going to be a good day. i can feel it!" She looked over to me with such alarm as i walked away from her.
"Mikey, what's for breakfast? Is it good? Are you going to poison it? Can i have milk with it? Ohhh, do you think i can be a cook? Am i fun? Mikey? Mikey?!" He jumps.
"Sorry, Shay. i was making your breakfast."
"Ohh is it my favorite? Like Daddy's?! Yummy!"
"Actually it is pancakes."
"Yummy! Are they good, Raph, April?"
"Yes."
"i guess it for it being Mikey. Why do you trust me?"
"You were the one to open up your room to me were you not?"
"Unfortunately." i pouted when he said this.
"Fine. i will eat elsewhere." Mikey comes and hands me my food.
"Here, Shay."
"Thx Mikey!" i then skip into the living room with my food. i watch my favorite show while eating.

"Raph! That was so rude!" Leo whisper/yells at Raph.
"What?"
"What you said to Shaylee! That was so rude!"
"Leonardo is correct, Raphael. You should not act in such manner."
"Hai Sensei."
"Hey, Raph! Just so you know, Shaylee has been through so much that if i told you how much things happened you wouldnt be able to sleep for months! So before you start saying things like that, i suggest you get more information on them! She is a good person. Her heart is in the right place but she just doesnt understand other peoples feelings. Ok. So just keep that in mind. Your reaction was the exact reason her parents kept her in home school for so long. That is also why she doesnt have many friends. So as long as people do this, her parents will do what they did before again if they have to. i dont want that for her whole life."
"Sorry. Gosh. If i'd known i would be lectured, i wouldnt have said anything..."
"Raph, just shut up and eat." They hear a scream from the living room and run in there. They see Shaylee running up the couch and her food in the floor.
"Noo! Please! Dont! YOU CANT! Nooooo! i-i need to be here! If Lola tells me other wise then i will leave! You cant make me leave!"
"Shaylee!" April yells to her.
"No! April stay back! They are here!!"
"Who?!"
"Scarlets helpers! They are here! For me! Tell them to stay back! NOW!"
"But-"
"NOW! THERE IS NO TIME! SCARLET WILL COME AND TAKE ME!"
"Why?"
"Do you remember the talk? The one with Scarlet?"
"Yes..."
"She wants me for her evil bidding... She also wants me to... to... Take everything that has happened and k-kill it... To take revenge on... Them and do... Horrible things to them... Even if i was close to them..."
"Lets go!" Yells the helper.
"No! i refuse!"
"We will kill everyone in here, if you dont!" Shaylee's eyes sudden and she yes hesitantly.
"Fine. As long as I can write something before i go."
"Do it! But make it quick!"
"Ok." She gets paper and writes on the whole front of the paper. "i-im ready. Lets... go..." They grab her by her hands that are now behind her back all prison like and lead her out of the lair. Lola then comes back an hour later and asks,
"Where is Shaylee?" April answers.
"She... She was taken by... Scarlets helpers... She told us to... Stay away and she only gave us this note... i havent had the heart to... Read it..."
"What?! She was taken?! No! Not so easily... Did she fight?"
"No. Because they told her... That they would kill us... And she didnt do anything to stop them from taking... Her..."
"They probably would have too. They are as violent and will do what they have to do to get her to go with them. It is good that she did this to protect you. That means she respects you and is ready to protect you from any harm. April she was already willing to do this for you. But this is unusual for Shaylee to do this for mutants."
"You hear that Raph? She was willing to protect you instead of herself. So now do you take back being rude to her this morning?" Leo says to Raph.
"Sure. Whatever. Why would she anyway?" Lola answers that question.
"Easy. Because she is willing to lose her life for those who risk theirs for her. Splinter has done just that as well as you have."
"It was no problem. She is a good soul." Lola smiles then asks April,
"May i see the note she wrote?"
"Here."
