They say, "life doesn't stop at anything or anyone." Wrong. Life does stop at 3am in the morning when you're reminiscing on the past. Life does stop at the tears that roll down your cheeks in the shower. Life does stop at the absence of a person you were once infatuated by.
Even when the sun rises or sets, even when the seasons change or last, even when days and weeks go by in front of your own eyes - life will only go on if you let it.
My life has ended many times at night and began again in the morning. Life may end at some point for all of us - even if our hearts are beating - though it will go on for others.
Life could end at a broken heart, a betrayal, sadness, loneliness - but it will eventually proceed with its routine.
A petal grows on a rose while another one falls down as seasons elapse. The same way pain lingers at a wound as another one heals. Life does stop at something. Life does stop at someone too. For it has stopped for me many times and the sole reason was you. - A
