Sticks and stones

Sticks and stones may brake my ones but words will never hurt me.

This was all a lie.

Whoever came up with this Is stupid.

I'm Alice Colman,I'm 15 and one of the millions of teenagers getting bullied a year.

Any word you can think of I've been called it.

Skank,fat,suicidal freak,ugly,vile,slut,i could go on and on.

Now my bullies well there's at least 6 of them,miley (basically main bully),Mitchell ( Miley's boyfriend),karla, alisha,riley (the well nicer bully I guess) and lastly Isabel.

This has been going on for about 2 years now.

It all started when my dad started to drink.He became abusive to my mother.Once or twice he even would be abusive to me,this would happen when I would try to protect my mum.Im not going to lie the punches and slaps hurt but compared to my mothers injuries these were nothing.

She would wake up in the morning barely being able to move.She broke 5 parts of her body once and had to stay in hospital for 3 months.

One day she was severely injured and died.

From this day forward I'm the one who looks after my baby sister and cooks and cleans.

My dad comes and goes when he wants.Sometimes I won't even see him for a month or two.

Now I know what your thinking,how does this lead to bullying?

Once I was best friends with Miley and I could trust her.However when I told her about my abusive father she went and told everyone.

We used to be the popular ones.I used to have a multiple of boyfriends and friends.i was never a player or a bully.

When the rumours had spread about my dad everybody started to laugh at me.

Miley became more popular and eventually forgot about me.The more she made fun of me the more friends she got.

Sorry it's a rubbish chapter but I had to lead up the story else it wouldn't make sense.Oh and I don't usually swear so excuse my language but this book is the kind of book that's gonna have swearing in it because it's to do with bullying.
