I stared up into the sunset sky, I watched as the dragons flew by the witches castle far in the distance. I have never met the witch, but I hear stories about her, like how evil her mother was and how they both murdered all the fairies in the willow lands. It was heart breaking to hear.
I turned when I heard mothers voice from inside the earth-covered home, She stared at me though the large kitchen window. "You better get in here before the wind spirits come and carry you away!"
The Spirit of Wind is one of five powerful elemental spirits known as the Grand Elemental Spirits (Godaiseirei), of the Patch Tribe. They are derived from the Great Spirit itself, and like it, constitute a collective of souls.
I coulden't help but smile at that, My mother use to tell me if I diden't come in that the demons of hell may just drag me in with them, I was so scared I pretty much flew into the home. But that was when I was little and when I would believe anything my mother would say, But now that I'm sixteen such tells won't terrify me anymore, Or like they use to anyway.
I grabbed the last of the wood for the fireplace and walked inside the worm home, It was supposed to get cold tonight so mother sent me out to get wood, while she watched over my two younger brothers.
I laid the wood down into the stone fireplace and started the fire. I watched as the flames grew. Mother sat down beside me wrapping her arm around me, "You did well today Ayla." Mother said placing a kiss on my sweaty cheek. "I'll run you some bath water." She said getting up, "I'm proud that you are my daughter." She walked away leaving me there to think.
I wondered why mother was being so kind to me today, usually she was always grumpy and never really spoke to me like she did. It was kind of shocking to hear that she was proud that I was her daughter.
"Baths ready!" Mother yelled from in the washroom. I grabbed some night clothes for after my bath, As I walked into the washroom mother patted my head as she left closing the door behind her.
What was up with that women? I thought to myself as I got undressed and sat in the tub. The warm water felt so good after a hard days work. I laid back letting the water soak my blond hair, my long golden tail hung out of the tub.
My ears poked up when I heard the sound of glass shattering, then my mothers scream. I rose up out of the tub wrapping a tale around me. I ran out of the washroom and into the living room. Mother was on her knees her hands covering her eyes as she cried.
"Mother what's happened...?" I looked up and seen the door had been broken down, How could I have not of heard that? Mother shook her head, "They took them, They took my babies!" I felt panic rise inside of me.
"Who took them!?" I yelled grabbing a hold of mothers shoulders.
"The humans! they took my babies!" More tears escaped mothers blue eyes, She looked over toward me. "Please save my babies, your brothers! Please Ayla!"
I was already walking back to the washroom to get dressed back in the cloths I had on before. A leather brown jacket, a white shirt that was above my belly button, brown leather pants and gloves.
I was going to save my brothers no matter what! I ran toward my room and grabbed my two knifes, putting one in my leg holster and the other in my waist knife holster.
I grabbed a small brown bag, then went into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water and bread, I put them into the bag. "Okay mother, I'm going, don't worry I'll bring them back here safe."
"Let the Gods be with you my sweet daughter." Mother said kissing my forehead. "Be safe my dear."
I left closing the door behind me. Ha my first adventure and it's saving my brothers...
