Chris' POV:
I woke up early today so I could go to pandora and buy the bracelet for Bailee. I got dressed into a black t-shirt and white shorts and rushed out of the house to catch a bus to the shops.
*skip after bus ride*
I got off at the bus stop and made my way to Pandora as it was opening.
*skip to buying bracelet*
I bought the bracelet and made my way back to the bus stop to go back home. I stepped onto the bus and who was in front of me, Bailee, out of everyone she had to be there. Not that I was complaining, but I needed to text her about going to the park.
I walked past her and looked at her to see if she was going to do anything. She looked at me and then the pandora bag and said nothing. "Hey Bailee" I say and walk to the back of the bus.
I get home and quickly rush to my room, and text Bailee.
C: hey Bailee, do u want to meet up at the park at 7:30pm?
B: hi Chris, alright, I'll see u there.
*skip to park*
I arrived at the park 5 minutes early so I could settle and prepare what I was going to say. I turn around to see Bailee walking up the hill towards me. "Hey" I say to her "Hey" she says back. "2 days ago, I went to your house and talked to your dad about the breakup and got Ethan to talk to you too." I start "Look Chris, I can see where this is heading and before this goes any further, I just want to say that, I have a boyfriend." She says. Those 4 words killed me. I dropped to the floor and just stared at her. For all that I've done for her - kept her safe, warm, loved, I've come running back for her and took days of preparing, I bought her a $200 bracelet - and she says this to me.
I'm still staring at her with a blank face. I don't know what to say to her, do I even say anything to her? "Uh, but, I-I got this bracelet for you." I say hoping it might change her mind. "Keep it Chris, keep it for the your next love." She says, she doesn't understand that I love her, I always have and always will. "But, i l-love you." I say in an almost whisper. "I'm sorry Chris." She says and walks home.
