Darry: "Okay so how do I do this again?" asks a very concerned Darry. It's his first time giving baby Ryland a bath and he can't help but be a little freaked out. You can see that your husband is panicking but still it makes you giggle just a bit.
"Babe, relax just hold her with two hands and carefully wash her with the washcloth. Leave the shampooing to me," you say trying to calm him down.
"No, no Darling, I want to do it myself. I've got this. I won't be needing your help today," Darry declares confidently.
"Okay Dar if you say so," you say taking a step back. Suddenly, the phone starts ringing and you run to get it. Ten minutes later, you come back to see him wrapping Ryland up in her little towel. She is cooing and wriggling around in her father's arms. Darry has his back towards you so he doesn't notice you're watching them. You smile at the sight of the two of them sharing a cute daddy daughter moment.
"There we go princess, now you're all squeaky clean," Darry says, kissing your daughter on the cheek. "Just don't tell mommy we didn't shampoo. That is just too scary."
"Mommy already knows," you say causing Darry to turn around swiftly. Darry chuckles nervously.
"Oh hey honey," he says quickly. You raise an eyebrow at him but can't contain your laughter. You walk towards your husband and wrap your arms around his waist still giggling at his stubbornness.
