Naho walked aimlessly in an open field. She didn't know where she was. "How am I alive?" she asked herself. After being dead for over 50 years, Naho's wondering soul came back to life. What she didn't know was that somebody was watching her in the shadows. "So after all this time she's finally awake..." Seishin said. Sunako was right next to him, and she smiled. "We can use her help" Sunako said quietly. Seishin nodded. Naho's eyes had no pupils, and completely filled up the whites of her eyes along with her irises. Her eyes are a mixture of pastel blue and purple, glowing beautifully under the moonlight. Sunako smiled with satisfaction. "She's already a Shiki... She didn't need to be bitten". Naho heard the sounds of people screaming and started to become scared. She started to slowly step back as she could see people start to walk among the horizon. The people were carrying bloody weapons from all the other Shikis they had killed before. "There's another one!" a male voice shouted. Naho's eyes filled with fear and she started to run. "Get it!" the same voice shouted. Naho tripped on her own foot and fell into a bush landing on top of Seishin. Seishin's glasses fell off his face, and acting fast, Sunako cough this glasses before they hit the ground. Naho didn't say anything since the voices were very close by. "Where did it go!?" a voice yelled. "Not sure!" said another. "Ah, forget it! it got away!" said a third voice. The footsteps of the hunters faded away. Once they were gone, Naho immediately got off of Seishin and apologized. "I'm very sorry..." she said. Seishin sat up and put his glasses back on. "It's alright" he replied. Sunako smiled. "We have a place for you to stay" Sunako spoke up. Naho looked at her and said with surprise in her voice. "Really?" she asked. Sunako nodded. "My castle. You can stay there". Naho showed a small smile and gleamed with appreciation. "We should head there now, in case more hunters show up" Seishin said. Sunako nodded as she got up from the ground. Naho got up as well, holding out her hand for Seishin. He took Naho's hand and got up. "Follow me" Sunako said as she started walking towards her castle. Naho and Seishin followed Sunako. 'I hope I'll be safe from those hunters...' Naho thought. She hoped that she will be safe at this castle that Sunako talked about just a few seconds ago.
