I will admit, gaming is one of my favorite things to do, and there are some great gamers I have met that are nothing like what I am about to describe.

Some communities in the world just can't deal with something they don't like without threats and hate. One of the biggest offenders is the gaming community. Now don't get me wrong, not all gamers are like this, and I have met some splendid gamers in my life, but some crazy douchebags actually threaten to murder developers' families! Gah, words can not describe the hate I feel towards these grade-A assholes.
Recently a developer, who's one work was a masterpiece, quit the gaming industry, cancelled the sequel to FEZ, and quit Twitter. This man is Phil Fish, and he quit because of the numerous fucktards yelling "I'll kill your entire family" and shit like that. The reason they were mad, and I shit you not, He took too long to make the first game. Now, remember, Phil Fish was a one man developer, and created a platformer that was 2D and 3D at the same time. For those of you who don't know, five years is a short time for one man to make a gigantic game.
Now, for a sub-rant about a totally different species of gamer. These are, of course, the Call of Duty fanboys. They should be avoided at all costs for their stupidity is highly contagious. Recently, a CoD developer named David Vonderhaar made some small tweaks to multiple guns. Here are some examples of tweets sent out by Tweeters:
“End your f**king life you cancer c**t i will f**k your daughter"
“Haha screw @DavidVonderhaar fuk*n up the DSR and Ballista cant fuk*n hit quad feeds now #KillYourself Vonderhaar!!! SERIOUSLY!!”
These were sent out by actual idiots, because some small changes were made to guns. We, as gamers, need to begin changing our image from a man threatening people from his basement to fans of an art form. This kind of stuff does not help with that quest, guys. In the words of my father,"Grow the fuck up."
