Masquerade

Harry's POV
I was currently throwing a variety of different suits around my room, trying to find the best one for the masquerade ball Hermione has convinced me to go to. After an hour of fussing I finally find  the suit I'm going with, a black suit with a white shirt underneath and a white mask with intricate designing!
"Mione, when are we leaving?"
"In an hour Harry"
I really didn't feel like going anywhere if I was to be able
completely honest but I don't want my best friend to be upset so like always I go with her!

Draco's POV
So the masquerade is tonight, pansy won't shut the fuck up about it, Blaise keeps talking on about how he hopes Ron is going to be there! Surprisingly Ron turned out to be gay and Hermione was pansy's girlfriend so as always I had to hear it! Me I was already dressed in my white suit with a black shirt and a black mask with delicate designing secretly excited to be going tonight hoping one person will attend

Harry's POV
The time had come to leave for the ball and I was dreading it, who knows who would be there I could end up dancing with anyone but maybe not the person I hope!
"Harry James Potter if you do not get down these stairs right now I will come up there and drag you down"
"Jeez Hermione it's only a ball and it's not like Pansy is worth that much"
"Don't insult my girlfriend in that way and I'm excited"
"Alright I'm coming chill out"
We apparated to the location of the ball and entered. Hermione went one way whereas I went for a drink to at least get me through some of the night!

2 hours later
Harry's POV
So finally Hermione decided that she wanted a dance with me so i followed her onto the dance floor and tried my best to dance, I was suddenly shocked when I felt myself being pulled into someone's waist as the slow music came on, not knowing what was going on I danced with the man in front of me!
"Well I must say Potter you don't look half bad tonight"
"If it isn't Malfoy, you don't look half bad yourself"
"Walk with me I need some fresh air, it's too warm in here"
"Fine"

Draco's POV
I knew he would be here and I couldn't be happier I finally had the chance to do what I should have done a long time ago, walking outside with Harry felt right and finally we were under the canopy with Romantic lighting
"Dance with me a while"
"Okay"
After what felt like hours of dancing I finally had the nerve to speak!
"Ha ha Harry there's something I wanted to talk to you"
"Go for it Draco"
"So when we first met I offered you my hand and my friendship and you rejected me, and I can honestly say that the way I felt after was the worst feeling ever, I tried to convince myself that I wasn't affected so the bullying and mocking began and it never felt right, then in fifth year I began to realise something and at first I didn't accept it but then I did and I can tell you that not telling you has been so hard, but I have fallen in love with you Harry James Potter I know I might not have shown it but I was afraid of rejection and humiliation all over again so I kept it to myself but I just couldn't anymore"
"Draco Lucius Malloy you foolish boy how did you not notice, all the times you caught me staring at you in potions class, all the times I tried to compliment you even though you were being a jerk, I have always liked you and rejecting your friendship was the worst thing I ever did, I love you with all my heart and always have and will"
"Harry this is gonna be the hardest thing I do but"
"But what"
"Harry will you be my boyfriend?"
"Seriously, of course I will"
I have never felt as happy and relived in my life, finally Harry was mine and I did the only thing I knew how, I placed my hands on his waist pulled him in close and kissed him only pulling away when the cheering began!
Looking around everyone was there and the four people the most excited were Pansy, Hermione, Ron and Blaise so now there were three couples no one would have ever predicted!
