Different than Other's

Chapter one

May ran through the thickness of the trees as she turned her head to make sure she wasn't being followed. She ran for another 2 miles before stopping just to make sure. She was panting heavily and leaned against a tree to catch her breath for a second. May moved her red hair out of her eyes and looked around, but of course their was only trees. She was about to start walking again but stopped when she heard a twig snap behind her.

Her eyes turned yellow, nails grew into a claw like way, teeth got sharper and her red hair started to turn black. She turned into a wolf in seconds and turned around and growled. May sat their for a second growling waiting for the thing to show it self. A white female wolf jumped out and stared at May for a second. "Calm down Black Feather it's just me " Ash Fur said walking over to Black Feather (May) saying nothing.

"You didn't have to scare me" Black Feather sighed and flopped her butt on the ground into a sitting position. "I know but that wouldn't be fun" Ash Fur laughed. May sighed and looked back at were she can from "May are you ok" Ask Fur asked. "Yes Callie I'm ok" May said looking back at her. May stood up and started to walk, Ask Fur walked beside her.

They walked into their territory and waited for the pack to scare May like Ash Fur did. Surprisingly they didn't, they walked in the territory another mile or two when they saw them. Ash Fur trotted over to the rock with a curve looking thing that they sit under. They sat in silence and watched the pack do whatever they were doing. Most were sitting their talking and eating, and the pups were playing with their food.

In the morning May woke on the floor and got up off the floor and thought about what happened last night. She sighed and headed to her closet which is full of clothes. She pulled on a purple t-shirt and black leggings, and she walked into the bathroom. While she was in the bathroom she pulled her hair into a ponytail. She brushed her teeth and went to go get her school bag and her phone.

"Hey, how was your run last night" Callie texted "good" May replied with a smile emoji. Callie didn't send another text so May got her back and headed out the door. May got on the bus and sat in seat 23 all by herself and didn't talk to anyone. She didn't care if people stared at her as she sat their listening to music. Someone pulled out her earbuds and yelled into her ear.

May ignored him and got off the bus, pushing everybody out of the way just to get off. Everyone followed May off the bus to go into the school building, and May went to go meet Callie. Callie was just getting off her bus when May ran into her. "Hey" Callie said smiling "hi" May said and gave a small smile back to her. They didn't talk much after that, they usually don't unless it's necessary.

They walked into the school and headed for their locker, which May's was right next to Callie's. So they didn't go far from each other like other friends usually do. "Callie do you smell that" May said looking over her shoulder. Callie looked over her shoulder as well and breathed in the smell that May was smelling. Callie sat their for a second before saying "yea I do, it smells like a..."
