So technically I didn't quit. I just teach theatre now instead. Just told them it was too much stress and they replaced me real fast. Avi thought I was being stupid but it didn't matter. I was talking to the bass when he interrupted, awkwardly knocking on the side wall and I swear his face was as red as a tomato.

"Uh..uhm..mr.grassi, is it alright if choir uses the stage? We have a show coming up and ms.bush wanted to know if it would disturb anything." I could have sworn I've never seen anyone so nervous in front of a teacher. "Sure thing Scott, tell her I'll even help with lighting and audio if she needs it" I answer back with a smile and watch him turn back around with a quick thank you and practically running out. I swear that kid is too cute.

Avi raised an eyebrow when I was still zoned out before breaking into a grin. "Ohhhhh I see now, mitchy has a chushhh" he said, laughing when I slapped his shoulder. "Shut up Avi" I shot back just as the choir class began filling in the auditorium seats while two of the seniors and a junior went up to the light box. Avi sat towards the back since this was his lunch period and I set up some microphones and stuff before leaning against the wall towards the front.

From what I've gathered they were having more or less a talent show kind of thing. Most of them where singing however. I watched as the blond sat behind the piano and played for a couple acts before stepping to the mic himself. I sat up a bit, ready to hear how he sang. His voice alone was beautiful but I can't say I've ever really heard him sing since I was the choir teacher for only a couple days.

The recording started to play and I can say I've never been more amazed. He sang My Love from Sia perfectly and his voice put me under his spell. When he was done there was cheering and I couldn't help but smile and clap along. His blue eyes met mine and I could swear I saw him blush a bit before the curtains closed. This boy is amazing.. I shook my head and stepped back to the back and saw Avi make a heart with his hands jokingly before leaving to get back to his class which would start in ten minutes or so.

That was the last time I saw the blond boy for quite a while until one day where he was in the auditorium by himself. Curiously I walked over and sat by him but not too close. "You okay Scott?" I asked him, glancing over. He just nodded in return. "You did amazing by the way, the song I mean. And the piano and such-and-yeah I'll stop" I said with a small laugh, blushing faintly myself. That's when I heard him laugh and I couldn't help but smile at the sound. I would definitely want to hear that again.

"Mr.grassi, you're not like everyone else are you?" He asked when he was finished laughing. "How so?" I asked back, fixing my tie a bit since it had gone crooked. "You're just..not like everyone else. It's hard to put it." He said with a shrug. "Will you continue teaching here?" He suddenly asked and I would be lying if I said it didn't catch me off guard. "I don't think so, teaching isn't really my thing" I answered and I saw his eyes dampen a bit. "But hey, I'll be here if you need to talk" I added with a small smile. He hesitated for a minute. "but what if I don't want to talk?" Scott asked back. I shrugged in response. He stood up to go and I followed not wanting to see him upset but next thing I knew his lips were on mine and my back was against the wall in the stairwell. It only lasted a second but it felt like pure bliss. The blond went wide eyed just realizing what he did and ran out.
