Lets go camping!

Emma's P.O.V
'5...4...3...2...1' I counted down in my head until the bell rang. I shot up from my desk and quickly gathered my stuff and left the classroom. I slung my backpack over my shoulder and finally made my way to the courtyard in front of the school and began to wait, soon enough there were herds of students rushing out of the building while pushing one another violently. I began tapping my foot rapidly against the concrete until I finally noticed my friends walking down the school steps, once they were closer I could hear that they were talking about going camping, I briskly walked over to them "hey guys!" I exclaimed happily " You were out first again, huh?" Ross asked "Aren't I always?" I joked back "good point" he said while laughing "So I heard you guys were talking about going camping" I questioned "Yep, Ross and I and I were wondering if you guys would come along" Matt said confidently, I wasn't surprised that he was the one who wanted to do it, he is the most athletic of us all. " sounds like fun, I'm in!" Luna said happily " guess I could come too" Chez said " Well I'll go to 'cause everyone else is too" Dawn practically yelled " Then count me in" I said "Well its gonna be next week, I'll see you guys then" Matt said, we had been talking so long we had already reached our neighborhood. We all walked to our houses after saying our farewells.

As the week went on the group had been preparing for the trip until the last day of the week approached.

*Matt's P.O.V.*

I grabbed my car keys from the dresser and headed out with my camping gear. After shoving my stuff in the Jeep I got in the car and drove up the road to pick up my friends. First stop, Chez's house, I parked outside of her house and began to honk the horn until the door swung open and the whole group walked out which left me puzzled. "Hey, dude we decided to come to Chez's place cause she's the closest to your place and it would save you gas" Ross explained to Matt "oh, okay, well get in!" Matt replied and we all got it the Jeep. I had been driving for a little and I noticed the check engine light was on, luckily we were close to the woods so I decided to pull over. "U-uh why are we stopping?" Emma asked " um, the check engine light was on, and we were close enough to our destination so I pulled over" I replied "O-okay" she said. We got out of the car and started heading in the woods.
