*Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.*
"Gah!" Claire woke up to a beeping sound and threw her pillow over her head.
*Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.*
"Shut up and let me sleep!" Claire threw her hand out and tried to find her alarm clock on her night stand.
*Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.*
Claire jumped up and slapped the snooze button. "I just wanted to sleep in today." Claire whined. And walked over to her bathroom to get ready for school.
After a shower Claire got dressed in a black cut off tank and jeans with holes in them. She put on her black converse shoes and her black belstaff pusher jacket. She brushed her hair and put on black eye shadow.
Claire grabbed her bag and threw it on her back. She ran down stairs to check on her mom. Like she thought, her mom was passed out on the couch. Claire covered her mom up with a blanket. She kissed her mom's forehead. "Hey mom. I'm off to school. I love you." Claire walked out the front door to get on her bike.
She pulled out her garage and started to peddle. She rode about three blocks and pulled into Casey's. She parked her bike on the side of the building. She walked inside and went into the back of the store. She grabbed a juice, a doughnut, and a sub sandwich for lunch. She walked over to the clerk and payed for her food.
Clair got on her bike and peddled over to Lexxi's house. Lexxi was going to drive them to school in her car so Claire could leave her bike at Lexxi's house. Claire climbed in the window and yelled for Lexxi. "Lex. I'm here. You ready?"
"Ya, I'm coming!" Lexxi came out of the bathroom wearing a red and black splash shirt and jeans. She had on her camo knee high boots oon and her hair was curled down her back. "Excited for school?" She asked.
"No." Claire said. "What are you bringing for lunch? I grabbed a sandwich at Casey's. I also have a doughnut and juice for my breakfast or brunch. Depending on when I eat it."
"You better eat it for breakfast Claire." She gave me a death stare. She was always worried that I would somehow starve myself if I ate brunch instead of breakfast. I didn't get it. "I am taking a chance and eating school lunch today. Usually, the school has good food on the first day." Lexxi said. I just stared at her.
"And your worried about MY health." I laughed. "Shut up Claire! Let's go." We grabbed our bags and we walked outside to her car. School didn't start until ten, and it was a little after eight. It was about an hour drive to the school since we lived in the outer parts of the city.
On our drive to school I decided to write in my diary. Lexxi knew that if I was writing, not to bother me.

Dear Diary,
Today is the first day of my senior year. I am very nervous for it. Last night at the back to school party, me and Lexxi had the chance to catch up after my trip to Europe over the summer. I even got to see Mike Lancet again. Oh! And he was drunk... as usual. Last night at the gas station, I saw two hot guys, (which is weird since I don't like ANYONE) pull up outside the store and walk inside. But best of all! They looked at me! I know, I know, I have been spending the last three years of my life trying to be invisible, but that's the thing. I think I have been invisible for so long, well other than Lexxi, Jake, and Mike (on occasion) it felt good to be seen. You know what I mean? Well of course you do! Your my diary. And I'm talking to myself again... in my diary. What is wrong with my life?
This morning I found mom passed out on the couch...again. What is that like the eighth time this month? Or ninth? I don't know anymore. I swear, ever since dad died she had been a total drunkie and sometimes doesn't even know that I'm there. Good for me I guess. I do miss my mom though and I wish she would pull her head out of her butt because it is not a hat. Arriving at school. TTYL diary.
