We pull up in the front of the school, just in time as the bell rang and the little Elementary children ran out through the gates. I left Roy with his bike so I could wait for Toby at our usual place. Kids these days are so funny, I mean when I was in school- well elementary, everyone would walk like normal people out with their friends, except me I would just take off running to the library to study and be alone. Typical I say.
"Izzy! Izzy!" My little Toby runs into my open arms for a hug.
"What Toby? What happened?" He smiled before gushing words at me.
"ImayhaveaskedJennyoutandimreallyhappycanshecomeovertodayplease!please!please!" All in one breath, let me tell you- I never in my life will be able to talk that fast with that many words all in now breath.
"I'm sorry what? Toby talk slower."I chuckled and looked at him through my glasses.
" I may have asked out Jenny, I'm really happy Izzy. Can she come over today?Pleeease!" Okay I can't say no to his face especially when they do the puppy face.
"Alright. How about she comes over at Two?" Toby nods his head quickly. Toby has been learning time in his class, and he's not the best at it-let's be honest here, so he probably thinks two minutes, when really its forty-three minutes.
"Okay, lets go." I grab his little hand and walk towards the bike to see Roy leaning against it.
"Izzy, are we riding a bike?! YAY! Bike,Bike!" He starts pulling my hand when I nodded, making me stumble forwards.
"Whoa! Hold up Toby." I tug his hand back only for him to tug forwards once again.
Once we made it, well i'm still walking, and Toby is with Roy. Roy kneels down at Toby's level.
"Hey little dude." Talk about proper language- rolling eyes.
"Whats your name?" Little Tobs asked.
"The names Roy, hop on." Roy swiftly picks up Toby and sets him in the front holding the handle bar. Roy helps me onto the bike, before smoothly getting on in the middle. I put my helmet on and wrap my tiny arms around him holding tight.
"What about Toby?"
"I got him in my arms no worry." I rolled my eyes again. Not to worry about my little brother? Sure no problem. Oh cake-lord, I just used sarcasm! For the first time! I think. Yay me!
Roy turns on the engine making a huge- sorry, Loud race car noise. I've watched too much car shows with Toby. I really gotta stop. Soon enough we were at my house. Roy got off to help Toby and I out. When I stood up on the cement I couldn't help but notice how short I was compared to Roy, I mean I barely reach past his elbow- okay halfway between his elbow and shoulder, I'm not THAT short. Okay maybe I am, but anyways yeah I'm a midget compared to him just in few words.
"Why did God have to make me so prickly short?" I ask randomly.
" To make you unique in your own ways Seeds." Awe! Crabcake he made me blush again. I started fanning myself with my hands.
"Are you okay?" Roy slowly asks me, I didn't face him because my cheeks are on fire at the moment.
"Mhm. Yeah." No, Im definitely not okay, I'm extremely flustered at the moment.
" Why won't you look at me."
" No reason." I started walking up the cement steps to our door, when he got in front of me like that, just in a snap. I turned my head to the left so he didn't see.
" Is Seed blushing?" I slapped his wrist- I'm not the kind of violent person, but I'm embarrassed so I have a reason?
" I am not. Now will you please move out of my way?" I kindly asked.
