"Odessa? Odessa! Come on, wake up!" I heard a familiar voice call before feeling the sensation of someone punching my arm. My eyes, reluctantly opened to reveal a very excited Hermione beside, "About time! I've been trying to wake you up for ages!"

"Sorry. I am a very heavy sleeper. What time is it?" I asked, sitting up, rubbing my eyes,

"It's seven thirty. Breakfast starts in half an hour and lessons start at nine. So you need to move your bum and get dressed!" Hermione laughed as she pushed me out of bed,

"Alright! Alright! I'll go!" I chuckled. I quickly washed and changed into my new uniform,

"How do I look?" I laughed as I gave a twirl,"Spectacular!" Hermione giggled

"How do I look?" I laughed as I gave a twirl,

"Spectacular!" Hermione giggled. We quickly linked arms and headed down to the Great Hall only to be greeted by Professor McGonagall,

"Good morning miss Granger, miss Black. Here are your timetables for the rest of the year. I shall see you for your first period," McGonagall informed before walking off. We both ran into the hall and begin to discuss our lessons over some delicious breakfast. However, the whole time I was slightly distracted by where ever Harry and Ron was. Pretty much everyone had come and gone by now and I hadn't seen them anywhere,

"Hey, Hermione?" I said after swallowing my food, "Have you seen Harry and Ron anywhere?"

"No, they've probably gone straight to class," Hermione mumbled while reading through the Daily Prophet. However, I didn't believe her. I knew they wouldn't miss breakfast for the world after seeing the way they both devoured dinner last night. Plus this is their first morning here, they wouldn't want to miss the atmosphere. I was just finishing off my pumpkin juice, which might i say it's bloody delicious when Hermione suddenly threw down her newspaper and looked up at me,

"Holy cricket! Transfiguration starts in 10 minutes! Come on else we're going to be late!" Hermione gasped. I quickly grabbed my backpack before she grabbed my hand and ran off down the corridor. Luckily, we made it to the lesson on time and took our spaces next to each other. However, there was still two seats free in front of Hermione and I. That must be where Harry and Ron are going to sit. But where on earth were they? McGonagall soon instructed us to copy out a few passages from out textbooks in silence. It was relatively easy to work, well i guess it was for Hermione and I since we had previously read through the textbook and had a good idea of everything inside. Suddenly out of the blue, Harry and Ron came running into the classroom. Late,

"Made it," Ron exclaimed,

"But not on time," I hushed which only Hermione heard and laughed at,

"Whew, amazing! Can you imagine the look on old McGonagall's face if she saw that we were late?" Ron and Harry panted. But then suddenly the tabby cat which was perched on McGonagall's desk sprung into life and moulded back into our Professor. Everyone in the class watched their Professor with wide eyes, hardly believing what just happened, "That was bloody brilliant!" Ron gawked,

"Thank you for that assessment, Mr Weasley. Maybe if I were to transfigure Mr Potter and yourself into a pocket watch, maybe one of you would be on time," McGonagall stated,
