Lily pov
it is said that once you turn 18 you will find your mate, living in a ware wolf comunity should make it much easier for me to find him. I was so excited I had hopes that it would be my bestfrined jake; for we had known eachother our entire lives, then again I knew practically all the boys my age considering my father was alpha and whoever I got with would become the next alpha in line. I ran over to Jakes house which was next door and jumped on his bed on top of him, my intents on waking him up. He didn't budge.
"Get The Fuck up buddy!" i screamed in his ear. he grunted and pulled the cover up over his head. I sighed and yanked them down and found him wearing only his underwear I giggled. he grunted.
"Lily! can't a guy sleep without you climbing all over me!" Jake yelled while getting up and going over to his dresser to put some decent clothes on.
"No! don't you know what tomorrow is!!" I yelled like a childish pup. He gave me a wicked grin and picked me up putting me over his shoulder I yelped.
"Of course I do! i'ts my bestfriends birthday oh whatever shall I get her" He threw me down on his bed and I clapped my hands.
"Something pretty and not borrowed duh" I said with the biggest grin on my face. I couldnt help but be excited it was the day I would meet my mate, after all I had waited for like a century to find him. I wanted to be extreamly happy with my mate like everyone else was with theres.
"Whats going on in here" Cole entered the room with a devious grin on his face.
"Nothing you have just ruined the moment I hope you are happy with yourself" I pouted.
"yup" he said with a grin so big that really showed off his dimples. Oh how I loathed him. I wish he would find his mate already so he would move out of this house and I would never have to see him again except at the town meetings.
"what do you want Cole" jake said in a really rude way but could you blame him Cole was always such a dick.
"Just came to see the birthday girl, bet your excited to finally meet your mate arn't you girly" Cole said while patting my head like a little child. Ugh he knew how much that really pisses me off.
"Yeah I am too bad you never found yours or you would have been moved out by now" I said spitting out venom that seemed to just pour like blood out my mouth.

Coles POV
There was so much lily didn't know, however she would find out tomorrow im sure she won't be too thrilled about natures crazy and ironic plan for us. Oh no im sure she will be quite pissed off like I was when I found out who my mate was. "For your information I have found my mate" I said through gritted teeth. How dare she think so little of me.
"sure whatever cole you don't have to lie to me cuz if you found her then you would have been with her by now instead of always trying to be around me."
If only she could see the true meaning that lay between her small meaningless words. Lily walked over to the window to sit on the window seal like she always does when she comes over. She leaned back against the window and let out a long sigh. a growl errupted from me just from the small little noise she made. I despised her for how she made me feel. I pounded my hand in the wall before walking out knowing i left a pretty big whole in the wall.
