Chapter 1

The only problem on Mabel Hardings mind at the moment was how large the last icing-made rose pedal on one of her customers wedding cake would be.

Earlier that day a petite woman with a rather large bottom, but surprisingly small feet, stormed into the shoppe. She struggle to reach the counter. Finally she slammed her two pale hands down on the glass top, Mabel only smiled at the woman. "Misses Annebelle nice to see you again! How are you? How's the-"

"I don't have time for your silly business!" Misses Annebelle cut her off. "I order this cake two weeks ago and it was never delivered! Nor was I notified that it'd be late. What's your problem? My nieces wedding is in two days!" The petite lady pointed to a large white cake on display in the glass case under Mabel.

"I've been working on it all morning ma'am I swear!" Mabel lied.

"Then let's see it." Misses Annebelle's voice softened.

Mabel lightly shrieked of terror. "See it?" Mabel repeated. "See.. it?" Misses Annebelle did nothing. "Misses Annebelle it is strictly against my rules to show anyone a cake before it is done. Not even a glance!" Mabel's lying skills were amazing. While her mother was an actress, being homeschooled made for great time to practice.

Now it was 3 hours later and Mabel was still working on the base of the cake. She laughed at the thought of misses Annebelles awkwardness. I'm glad I'm not that weird. Am I? She always compared herself to others. Mabel had long blonde hair, to her toushe to be exact, but it'd always be in a bun because of her job at the family cake shoppe. She had fare skin that would light up when she smiled with her naturally straight teeth. There'd also be cute, tiny, wrinkles around her large emerald green orbs. she had dimples the size of craters and she was rather tall for her age, which was 17.

It was closing time and Mabel was happier than anyone else in Bluewater at the moment. When she stepped out of the shoppe the warm spring air hit her face like a thousand kisses from the sun. What she heard was the opposite. A man screaming actually.

"What the hell? Watch where you're going asshole!" A raspy British voice muttered from the ground.

"Don't walk so damn close to the door next time." Mabel laughed as she turned to find the man. The smile faded from her face when she found him. She knew exactly who he was at one glance. She stepped a few inches back when the man picked himself up from the ground.

"Buy a door that opens inward next time." Zayn dusted himself off, then laughed at his own witty comment.  Mabel pushed a strand of hair behind her ear, not sure if she should run or not.

"Are you mad?" she asked.

"No. It's fine." Zayn lit up the purple and orange sky when she smiled a cheeky smile, and stuck his and out waiting to great Mabel's. She only nodded. He awkwardly let his hand fall to his side.

If it was the right time and place, Mabel would've definitely admitted that Zayn was pretty beautiful. He had hair that blended with the night, as dark as it was, but his face was contrasted by the beautiful cognac brown orbs placed lightly on his face by the heavens. he had stubble on his deeply tanned skin, that matched the rest of his body, and he walked with a cat-like grace that was rare to the people around him. He was a bit taller than Mabel but it made for the perfect angle of looking down at her. Into her eyes is what mesmerized her most.

"Let me take you on a date." He stated, realizing that she was staring. No matter how beautiful he was, she couldn't date the one that is responsible for the vandalism on every street corner you see.

"No thank you." She nervously spoke.

"It wasn't a question." Zayn smirked and grabbed her arm. He started dragging her to his black hummer.

"Hey let me go!" She struggled What the fuck? I am in so much trouble what if he kills me how do I get out of this?
