Alice was super excited because it was the last day of school and she wouldn't have to go through what she normally goes through everyday. You see, she is bullied because of the way she is unique. She doesn't wear matching socks and she lives in Vermont. Alice had just woken up and started getting ready. When Alice was done getting ready she went downstairs for breakfast. For breakfast she had a bagel with butter. As Alice, was leaving her mother told her that when she got home there would be big news.
Alice was so exited she forgot what school was like. She was thinking about what the news could be. "It could be that we're getting a dog or we could be having a baby." Were the thoughts going through Alice's head. As soon as she got to school she forgot about the surprise and remembered what school was like. Well, as she was remembering she didn't notice that no one saw her. That day was the best day of the year for Alice.
As soon as school was over, Alice rushed home because she remembered about the news. When she got home her parents were already ready and waiting for her. "Alice, I have gotten a call from work and I have gotten promoted to the head of the NYC office. We will be moving in 5 weeks. We have looked online at some houses and we found one we really like. We would like you to see the house in person so we want you to pack a bag because we are going to New York for a week, leaving tomorrow to look at houses" Her father said.
