Blood of Olympus

Chapter Three: Percy

PERCY.

Percy quickly turned and found two huge Laistrygonian giants climbing up the sides of the ship. Where did they come from?! He thought. He uncapped riptide and could already see the others running in to help. Percy charged at one of the giants, it swung its bat at him and he rolled under it, getting inside its guard. He swung riptide and made a nasty gash in the giant's leg. The giant roared, but it didn't seem to effect him very much. Jason charged at the other giant swinging his sword like a maniac. Wow, Percy thought, someone's ready to fight.

Annabeth ran to Percy to help him fight the Laistrygonian. She was fighting with a celestial bronze dagger  that Leo made for her that had, "woooo go Annabeth," engraved on the blade. She seemed quite happy with it to Percy. Piper, Leo and Frank went to help Jason out and Hazel came to help Percy and Annabeth.

After a lot of swinging and swooshing, dodging and jabbing, the two Laistrygonians let out a huge roar and swung the seven to the back of the Argo II. The seven of them had their backs to the side railing of the ship and were facing the two giants. Percy tried to think of a plan to get rid of the giants. For a second he thought about charging at the two alone, but he knew that that never ended well.

"Stupid half-bloods," belowed the one on the left. "You think you can defeat us?!"

"What do you want?" yelled Percy, though it seemed pretty obvious what they wanted, them dead. The giant turned his head in Percy's direction and laughed.

"Well, well, well. It's the great Percy Jackson. Hero of Olympus." The giant belowed. "Isn't it obvious what we want? Our leader Gaea needs the blood of two demigods for her to rise, and she specifically requests the ones, Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase."

"And why is that?" Annabeth demanded. The giant on the right got a disgusted look on his face.

"You two, caused the most disruption to her plans. You two killed the titan Kronos. You two tortured Polyphemus, and made him blind. It was you, Percy Jackson who killed the great Polybotes. You two puny half-bloods kept tearing apart her plans, she requests that it is you two who's blood shall be spilled to make Gaea rise!" He belowed triumphantly. Annabeth just rolled her eyes and Percy forced down a grin.

"Well what about the rest of us?" Hazel spoke up.

"You?" the Laistrygonian on the left chuckled, " you will be killed of course. Servents! Take them!!" He yelled. Suddenley hundreds of Telekhines leapt on to the Argo II and started fighting. The seven jumped into action and started slashing the monsters away. Percy looked to his left to see Piper fighting three telekhines and anouther was creaping up behind her, his sword raised, ready to slash her. "PIPER," Percy yelled, but she couldn't hear him, so he charged at Piper and pushed her out of the way of the teleknine and they both hit the ground. Last thing he saw was a net being thrown over the both of them, and they were being dragged off.
