"H-how did you- how could you possibly?-"Remus stutters

"I read it, about werewolves in this book and how to recognise them, plus I took a wild stab in the dark" I shrug not see the problem

"Then you must see the danger?" he sighs shamefully, upset that if it wasn't for his condition Rosalie and Harry would not have been raised by Lilly's horrible sister and her husband.

"Well you're only dangerous on a full moon right? So I could just visit you when a full moon has passed and everything is fine" still not understanding why this was such a big deal. He smiled at me,

"We'll talk about it later, come on the store's this way" pointing in the direction and again putting a hand on the small of my back, guiding me towards the store.

*****************************

"So tell me about Hogwarts" I say as madam Malkin was fitting me into my robes

"Well there are 4 houses that you'll be sorted into" Minerva started to explain

"Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor and Slytherin" Remus continues

"So how do we get sorted?" I question still fascinated by this world.

"A sorting hat chooses, if you are intelligent you'll be sorted into Ravenclaw' Minerva explains

"Hufflepuff for the kind and loyal" Remus carries on

"Turn this way" mutter Madam Malkin, I turn as I'm told but still listening

"Gryffindor which you father, your mother and I were sorted into, that house, which is for the brave"

"That is also the house that I'm the head of, and then there's Slytherin the house for the cunning and ambitious" Minerva continues explain

"So which one do you think I'll be sorted into?" I question, already wanting to be in Gryffindor as it was the house my parents were in, but it's silent from the adults as they try to think of what would be best for me to go in,

"Well from what we've seen of you so far you're very kind and loyal' McGonagall starts

"So I would go in Hufflepuff?' I question cutting her off

"Well not necessarily as you are also very intelligent": Remus continues

"Also the deal with the taxi man, you're cunning" McGonagall continues like Remus and her are conversing like I'm not in the room

"But she's also very brave the way she protects her brother, the way she has and will"

"So what you're saying is that you don't know, that I could be any of the houses"

"Yes" Remus and Minerva say at the same time.

"Great" I sigh out becoming nervous what if I don't get sorted at all, what then? I think to myself, my breathing becoming faster and faster as I begin to panic

"It's going to be all ok, no need to panic" Minerva says soothingly

"And how can you possibly know that"

"Because Gryffindor is in your blood, you'll be fine" Remus starts, I give him a questioning look

"Alright dear all done, and don't worry you'll love Hogwarts" Madam Malkin says to me interrupting our conversation. We pay and walk out of the store heading in a different direction

"What do you mean it's in my blood?" I question Remus

"When your father and I were at school he would always say that he was the descendent of Godric Gryffindor, one of the founders of Hogwarts and the one who created the Gryffindor house, so it is most likely, with you being so much like him and all, that you'll be in Gryffindor" he reassures me, calming me down from my almost panic attack

"Oh that's so cool, ok so where are we going next?" I question already forgetting about the sorting hat

"To get the one thing still on your list of requirements, a wand from Olivanders" Minerva says

"I get a wand? That is so cool!" I exclaim, the two adults chuckle in amusement at my excitement. We walk in the direction of Olivanders, once we get there and the kind old man comes out from what looks like millions of thin boxes

"ah Remus Lupin and Professor McGonagall never thought I'd see the day the both of you were back in my store what brings you here today?" the old man says in a light hearted tone, not seeing me as I was hiding behind Remus well that was until Remus stepped out of the way and Mr Olivander saw me. He has to blink a couple of times,

"Well you are definitely Lilly potter's daughter" he says with a fond smile, I smile bashfully

"Hi" I wave shyly

"I was wondering when the day the Potter's daughter would be gracing me with her presence" we go through a couple of wands and some broken vases and pot plants until I find the wand that chose me and we head off with a wave and a promise to visit him again soon.

"Well I need to head back off to the school but Remus do you think you could get her back home?" Minerva asks Remus

"Of course" was his reply

"Excellent, well here is a few galleons for you both to get an ice-cream and I will see you one the first of September Rosalie" with that the professor walks off leaving Remus and I to get some ice-cream for ourselves. We get to a place Remus called Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour and after choosing a flavour from some weirdly named flavours we sit down and talk about random things and Remus told me stories of him and my parents when they were in school, soon the subject changed

"So do you think I could possibly stay with you over the summer and maybe even visit you on Christmas, but that would have to be a sort visit as I have to be with harry on Christmas, maybe Christmas eve" I start to ramble excited to spend more time with the werewolf

"Hold on just a minute, just calm down" he chuckles from my excitement, we start to head back to the leaky cauldron to get home

"What? Don't you want me over?" confused all of a sudden

"That's not it, it's just- the werewolf thing really doesn't bother you? He whispers the word werewolf as he says this doubtfully

"No, why should it?"

"Because I'm a monster, I'm dangerous" he tries to explain but I was having none of it

"Oh please do you really think a professor would allow someone dangerous to be left alone with me, Remus you're not dangerous, well sure you shouldn't be around people during the full moon but other than that I can't see a problem" he stares at me in disbelief as not many people were so accepting

"Only a week?" he caves in letting me stay with him

"Only a week, maybe" he gives me a look

"well the full moon might be still a bit away and I could spend maybe a bit longer but we'll see how it goes" trying but failing to get him to cave again but one week was good enough for me.
