Who is calling me this time? I thought to myself.
"Hello?"
"Hi, sorry for calling this time, may I talk to Angelica?"
"Yes, this is Angelica"
"Sorry to inform you that your mom is in the hospital sh...."
That's all I could hear... in that moment I thought my life ended, in that second.
All those moments with my mom is what came to mind. Her smile, her stories, her laughter.. I just couldn't take it and started to cry. M
Why is life treating me this way? Why me?
"Ma'am are you there?"
"Ma'am?"
"I'm going to call the police to check on you ok, ma'am?"
"Sorr-rry can you repeat what you said"
"That I'm going to call the police. to check on you... are you ok ma'am?"
"Noo, about my mother"
"Ma'am is better if you came to the hospital, your mother needs you ma'am, she has been asking for you since she woke up"
"Ok, thank you-u"

Why happened? I knew my mom was sick but not that sick. She told me she was getting better. I hope that my mom is fine because I don't know what I would do without her.

I took a quick shower. I knew I had to get a plane ticket when I arrive in the airport.
I live in Arizona and my mom lives in Los Angeles. I had been living here in Arizona since I graduate in college. I'm a teacher which I need to call the school and inform them about the situation.
I dried my self and put come coconut lotion in my tan skin. Going to the beach everyday Saturday has done good to my skin.
I packed all my clothes and makeup products. Got my phone, wallet, and my passport.
It took me 30 minutes to arrive at the airport. Right when I got there I ordered my ticket and waited for and hour for the plane to be ready to depart. I was soo nervous... people would stare at me from the tears falling down my face. I just hope that everything alright.
