Elena walks in and I'm petrified.
"Elena what the hell." I stammered. Elena looks worried and walks closer to me, I almost forgot about John laying on the ground. I leave Elena, and call 911. John is bleeding bad. I try to cover his fingers with a cloth to reduce the speed of bleeding. Elena tries to help, but I push her off. I finally hear the relieving sound of sirens and try to move John closer to the door. I don't hear a single word from Jeremy. If he was sleeping he should've heard all this racket down here.
"Go check on Jeremy." I say to Elena.
"Why?"
"Just go now, Elena." I beg. The paramedics come through the door, carrying John out. I have blood all over my hands and I'm sweaty. Elena comes rushing down stairs,
"He's unconscious, and there were pill bottles scattered around." Elena heavily says.
"Call Stefan." I say. I don't know what else to do. Jeremy couldn't die. Elena calls Stefan and gets here quick as possible. Jeremy wakes up, and Stefan looks in his eyes.
"He has vampire blood in his system. Don't worry he's not in transition." Stefan says. I just nod to Stefan.
"Stefan, could I talk to you, privately?" I ask.
"Uh, yeah sure." Stefan confused.
"I was on the porch, until Elena saw me and asked what I was doing. So I went in, then to my room. I heard John yelling bloody murder, and went down and say Elena as a vampire. But then disappear. Then she walks through the front door like nothing happened." I say.
"What were you doing?" Stefan asks.
"Nothing." I say avoiding that subject. Then Stefan's face expression changes.
"Katherine."

The Next Day
Hospital

Elena and I had to go to the hospital today. When Uncle John tried to burn all the vampires, the device had affect on Tyler. He isn't a vampire, but he crashed his car with Matt, and Caroline. Caroline isn't doing too well, so we want to visit her.
"How is she doing?" Elena asks Sheriff Forbes.
"She's in surgery. They're doing everything they can." Sheriff says.
"They will and do everything to save her Liz. They won't let you down." I say to the Sheriff. I mean there's medical miracles, but I don't want to see Liz sad. She needs hope right now more than everything. Elena and I go back to the waiting room to sit with Bonnie and Matt. I see Damon walking in to see Liz. Honestly the last thing I want to do is see Damon. I try to hide myself with a magazine. I try to eavesdrop into the conversation and I see Liz crying and Damon hugging her. Elena decides to walk over to them. Oh god. I decide to stay where I'm seated. Elena talks to Damon probably about what happened the other night. Elena walks away with the Sheriff and I'm trying to not look at Damon. Until he walks towards me.
"Could we talk?"
"Depends. What is it?" I ask innocently.
"You know." He says walking into a different hallway.
"We need to talk about us, Arizona." Damon says.
"Okay. Fine. Can we talk later though? I don't think right now may not be the best time." I say.
"Alright." He says back. We walk back to Elena.
"Where did you guys go?" Elena asked.
"Eh, nowhere special." I say. We go back to our house to discuss Katherine. Apparently Katherine keeps pretending to be Elena, and even recently. We arrive home and Stefan is sitting waiting for us.
"She certainly knows how to make an entrance." Damon states.
"Are you alright?" I ask Elena. She seems very off.
"No I'm not. I thought with the tomb vampires gone it would all get better." Elena stutters. I try to comfort her by rubbing her arm.
"Anyways. Katherine's been invited in. What do we do exactly?" I ask.
"Move." Damon says. I just glare at him.
"That's very helpful, thank you." Elena says.
"Katherine wants you dead. There's zero you can do about it; you would be dead, but you're not. So she clearly has other plans." Damon says directly to Elena.
"Right. We need to find out what those plans are and not provoke her in the process. What happened on the porch yesterday, Ari? She said she saw you and Damon discreetly doing something." Stefan said. My heart raced. Should I tell them, or should I just retreat from the conversation.
"To risk another frown like encroaching on another crowded forehead, we kissed." Damon says with no remorse. I swore I went red.
"Ari?" Elena asks confused.
"Yeah. We did." I avoid Elena's piercing eye sight.
"Okay. I've got a plan then." Stefan changes the subject.
"Actually, lets just ignore the bitch. See you." Damon says.
"Is that smart?" Elena concerned.
"If Katherine thinks she's being ignored, it'll lure her out. She'll make a move."
"Yeah then what?" Stefan objects.
"Stake her, rip her head off, something poetic. We'll see." Damon leaves. I decide to leave as well but I get a feeling that Elena won't let me.
"Arizona."
"Elena." I say back.
"Come on, lets go talk." Elena suggests. I think I need a girl talk honestly. All this fairytale shit is messing with my head. Elena drags me to a different room, but still Stefan can hear.
"So." Elena says smiling.
"What do you wanna know." I smile sarcastically.
"Do you like him?" Elena asks.
"I- uh- I don't know." I say embarrassed.
"Do you feel anything for him?"
"I-I guess." I stutter. Elena just smiles at me.
"If he ever hurts you, tell me, okay?" Elena says.
"Alright." I smile. Elena laughs.
"Gilbert's and Salvatore's." Elena says. We both laugh at the thought. Elena gets a buzz from her pocket and checks it.
"I gotta go deal with John." Elena says. She walks out. The Lockwood's party is today, so. I decide to go home and get ready. Elena is coming to pick all of us up. I decide just to wear the casual as the party isn't that special. Elena finally picks us up and the ride isn't exciting. We're talking about just going in and out, not making a huge entrance. We arrive at the Lockwood's and see Damon in the front.
"Uh you guys go ahead. I'll be right there." I smile as I go in a different direction.
"What are you doing here?" I ask Damon.
"Just paying my respects to the Mayor. Really tragic accident." Damon says.
"I know. I was there." I say. Damon touches my arm. I get chilled from the touch, my arms form goosebumps.
"We should go inside."
"Ye-ah." I say trying to focus. Damon looks at me strangely. He probably felt my goosebumps. I follow him, while Mrs.Lockwood greets me.
"Arizona. You're so grown up! You're a beautiful, strong, lady, I see." Carols says.
"Thank you Mrs.Lockwood. You look amazing too." I say back to her. Carol was one of the adults I didn't mind. She knew what to do if I was blue, mad, etc. Damon walks me to a different room with no one in it.
"This is a party. Shouldn't there be people?" I look around.
"Ari, can we talk about this now?" Damon looks at me.
"Later. I don't want there to be a scene."
"Ar-" Damon tries to reason but I cut him off.
"Damon. Later. Stefan's here, probably Katherine too. I'm more worried about Elena than us. Elena is in danger, and she's my number one priority. We'll get to us, Damon. Later, please." I say. I walk out of the room looking around for anyone that I know. I see Jeremy and rush towards him.
"Did Elena and Jenna leave?"
"I think both of them did. I'm staying for a bit. So you can leave." Jeremy says walking upstairs. Elena is probably at the Salvatore house, I mean she's always there. I drive over there to see if anyone's home. They always leave it open anyways. I walk in. Damon and Katherine making out on the wall. I don't think they see me yet. My eyes get ready, my mouth makes an "o" shape. I slammed the door. While I was walking out, I heard Katherine say, 'Be more careful of your surroundings.' I couldn't stand it. Bawling my eyes out while I drive back home. I don't know what was wrong with me. I love Damon uncontrollably. He probably isn't over Katherine. I lay in my bed staring at the wall, trying to forget the projecting images in my head. I don't know what time it is, I've maybe been looking at the ceiling for 3 hours now. I decide to get up and go to the bathroom. It takes all my energy just to sit up. Everything is pushing me down. I wash my face, brush my hair, and then brush my teeth. I walk back into my room with an almost drunk Damon. I glare at him.
"What do you want?" I ask with my raspy voice.
"I'm sorry. What you saw was.. unattended. I don't know what I'm doing." Damon with his forgiving voice. A part of me says I should forgive him and this will all be over. But I don't want to forgive him yet.
"A sorry isn't going to do much. Ari-" Damon implies.
"I don't think you know. I forgive you through everything. You've done me so much negativity in my life, but I forgive you through worse. I love you, Damon. Unconditionally. But you don't seem to notice it. I-I just can't deal with you right now." I say almost past my breaking point.
"Arizona, I." Damon can't even finish his sentence.
"I told you my feelings, and I made a scene. Let's just move on, okay." I say while I get to bed. I face the other direction, while I feel the warm tears coming down my cheeks. He comes around so he faces me, and kisses my forehead. Then disappears. I fade quickly asleep. My heart keeps breaking because of Damon Salvatore, but he keeps building it up again.
