Natalia and Kai were stood next to each other. Nicholas was on the other side of them. They were stood at the gate, waiting for Aaron and Eric. The gate opened slightly to reveal a limping Eric and Aaron holding him. Aaron let go of Eric as they entered the gated community. Natalia's lips formed into a smile at the sight of her friend.
"We found a group. They were helpful and I want them to meet Deanna." Eric said, furrowing his eyebrows.
Nicholas nodded, "Okay."
Natalia raised an eyebrow, looking at Kai. "A group? The hell?"
Nicholas opened the gate the rest of the way, revealing a group of a dozen people. A man with a crossbow held a dead animal, earning looks from the three adults on the other side.
"We brought dinner." the crossbow man said.
"It's okay. Come on in, guys." Aaron gestured towards them.
Everyone started walking in, one after another. They all looked around the community. The gate started to close, causing a couple of them to look at the closing gate.
"Before we take this any further, I need you all to turn over your weapons. Stay, you hand them over." Nicholas said to the group.
"We don't know if we want to stay." a man with a baby in his arms stepped forward as he talked to Nicholas.
"It's fine, Nicholas."
"If we were gonna use them, we would have started already." the same man with the baby said again.
Natalia gripped her gun as she stared at the bearded man.
"Let them to talk to Deanna first."
"Who's Deanna?" A red-headed man asked.
"She knows everything you'd wanna know about this place. Rick, why don't you start?" Aaron explained to the now named man.
Rick nodded slightly, turning to his group. "Sasha."
A woman with a sniper rifle turned around and shot a walker that was coming towards the community. Someone closed the rest of the gate as Rick turned back around.
"It's a good thing we're here." Rick said as he and Aaron walked off.
"Let's go!" Natalia said, waving her gun towards the community.
She started walking towards the armory, Kai following behind her. Eric and Nicholas had walked off together as the group walked behind the two. Whispers between the group were happening right behind Natalia and Kai. Natalia was a bit pissed at the fact Aaron and Eric brought strangers to their home. But, she had no right to be pissed. Deanna welcomed Natalia into her home with some hesitation.
"Who the hell are these people?" Kai whispered low enough that only Natalia could hear.
"I don't know, but I have a bad feeling about this." she shrugged slightly, looking at Kai.
