The sapphire sea rose to shore, its ambiguous motives hidden behind the vast blues. The sea was surreptitious this beautiful night. The starry sky reflected on the ocean. The peaceful deep was undisturbed,untouched by human hands encircling time.
Many creatures roam the sea and it is still obfuscate how many unidentified species are below. The secrets held below sea are numerous and expand throughout centuries. Massive deteriorating ship wrecks and airplanes rest beneath the currents, organisms now inhabiting the abandoned metal walls where once there were people. The extraordinary moon illuminated the seas soft current and the beach below while casting a large silhouette from the towering cliff nearby, like a god overlooking nature.
The rocky shallows beneath the cliff held many secrets, secrets of men, women and forgotten tales. The waves carried the buoyant body through the thick humid mist to the black sandy shore. The left arm, pale and bruised covered in deep cuts oscillated as the sea tugged and pulled at it. The twisted rotten flesh barely hanging on to the chalk like bones and guts hanging from deep incisions smelled putrescent.
Their death had been a forfeit of a gambling scam but that was irrelevant now. A masked man stood over the body,he looked into the dead clouded over eyes in disgust. His rubber boot kicking it but eliciting no reaction, just an empty lifeless thud as his boot collided with it. He turned and walked away from it not looking back once, disappearing into the night as the sea swallowed the body through the mist and all its secrets once again.
