Natsu walked home thinking about his blonde councilor. He couldn't get her off of his mind. She had a smile that fooled everyone, but he saw right through it. Her eyes held sadness, stress.

She was really close to her breaking point. He could see it. She needed help. Her co-workers only made things worse for her.

Natsu couldn't call her a slut. She looked innocent. She held the innocence only to have it taken away.

Natsu heard something that made his blood boil. He wasn't very far from the building, but hid so no one could see him.

"That's right you slut bag, you better run," someone shouted.

"What did I ever do to deserve this?" He heard Lucy cry silently.

"You did nothing to," Natsu stepped out of his hiding place.

Lucy screamed. She then sighed only seeing Natsu.

"You scared the shit out of me," she said.

"I'm sorry Ms. Heartfilia, I was just wondering if you wanted to come with me and get something to eat?" Natsu asked.

"Um-" she started.

"I don't take no for an answer," he smiled.

"I guess then. I don't really know if I'm allowed to do this with my clients. Oh well. After I'm finished helping you out I'm leaving that place. I'm tried of being pushed around," she said. "You also look like you could need someone serious. You look like if I leave, you won't listen to anyone. What would I know? I'm just a slut wanting guys," she chuckled.

"Lucy, that isn't true," Natsu said, lifting the blond's head to face him. "You don't need to listen to them. As long as I'm around, you won't need to worry about them. I promise you, you are not a slut."

Natsu leaned down slowly, closing his eyes in the process. His lips connected to Lucy's. Lucy was surprised, but kissed him back. Her hands ended up on his shoulders. Natsu's hands found their way down to Lucy's waist. Their lips moved in sync.

"Natsu," Lucy moaned against the kiss.

"Don't moan, it'll make me want you," Natsu said as his hands went under her shirt.

"But maybe I want you,"she said, pulling away from the kiss. She covered her mouth realizing what she had said. "I'm sorry," she squeaked, pulling away from Natsu.

"Lucy, let's go now. There's a place I want to take you," Natsu smiled, lacing his fingers through Lucy's.

They walked to a café that wasn't far. It was "MIRA'S House".  They walked inside only to be greeted by a tall white haired female.

"Welcome to Mira-" the female stopped. "Lucy?" She questioned tearing up.

"Do I know you?" Lucy asked.

"Lucy here has amnesia. So if she knew who you were at one point, she doesn't now,"Natsu said.

"Oh um, my apologies," Mira said. "Go sit down. I'll be with you in a little bit."

Natsu and Lucy went and sat down, their hands still intertwined. Natsu ran his thumb over her knuckle. He couldn't put his finger on it. He remembered her from somewhere, he just couldn't remember where though.

"Natsu, do you feel a bond between us?" Lucy asked.

"I do, I really do," Natsu said, looking into Lucy's eyes. "Now I'm not losing you," he said taking Lucy's hand and bright it up to face level. "And that's a promise." He kissed the top of her hand.

Lucy smiled knowing she had found someone, even if they weren't together.
